We visited a lavender field, amazing tourist destination in Mailat, Romania
Hello friends from everywhere
Do you like the scent of lavender or the products made from lavender?
Frankly, I'm crazy about the smell of lavender.
So today we will go together to visit a lavender field and at the same time an event dedicated to natural products made especially from lavender.
The event is called Pick-U Lavandair and reading some information about the event I discovered that there will be local producers who will be present to present their products to those who will be present.
Oh let me not forget, a few days before attending the event I filled out an online form and registered for the event, because the organizers wanted their visitors to quietly enjoy the beauty of the lavender field in a controlled number without creating noise, noisy or crowded in certain points of the lavender field.
Due to the very high number of registrations the event took place during three days, the lavender field could actually only be visited during these three days, after these days the owners were going to carry out the harvesting works.
After more than an hour by car we arrive in Mailat commune where right from the entrance of the commune we see signs showing the direction to the event, the event was actually taking place on the field. It was relatively easy to get there.
We had arrived around 6 pm after dinner just to catch a sunset right here in the lavender field, although the place was quite crowded we easily found a parking space.
We had never been to an event like this before, so, with small steps, we made our way to the entrance, where the owners greeted us (they knew we were coming because of the form we filled out online) and we were given a pair of scissors and a cardboard bag to pick our lavender and, of course, take it home.
The first time we chose to take in line the stalls there and see what products would be useful, at each stall you had the opportunity to taste the products, after many tastings we decided to buy a jar of honey.
I don't know what heaven looks like but after the first steps through the lavender field I had the feeling that I had arrived there, by the way the lavender crop area was 50,000 square meters.
After adding honey and a few other things to our backpack we actually walked through the lavender field.
The owners set up many places through the lavender fields where you could take special photos that will stay in your mind for a long time, that's what we did.
After more than an hour we succeeded in what we had set out to do, to take pictures at sunset in the lavender field.
My dears if you have read my post so far I thank you and I end our walk through the lavender field here.
THE END!
If you liked what you saw and read here please don't forget to give a LiKe, Follow, reBlog or a Comment, for all this I thank you, and until the next post I say goodbye.
