Radhe Radhe Everyone!
Hope to all are well!
In today's blog I'll show the current state of appale orchards in my organic apple farm at Jubbal, Shimla HP. The day today was cloudy and it was raining in the early morning , making it really difficult to come outside. I want you to visit my apple orchards. For a morning walk , but it wasn't possible. So here I'm 11 in the noon but it still feels like morning.
One of the most difficult thing I think is walking after a rain cause, all the ground is wet and the grass around is also wet, making it really hard to pass by. Add mountains , the patha , not very clear, So you have to take it in every step carefully specially when you are at a certain elevation. The wind air was blowing very fast and there was a noise which arises when it hits the trees, it was pleasant to my ears and I was enjoying it.
On this day , the sun was playing hide and seek , and sometimes the slight sun rays fall on the ground and sometimes it's about to rain. On my way towards the orchids, I saw this old vintage home, And it took me back in times when all the houses add , my village used to look like that. Cause of modernization , people have changed their old houses and now new houses are built But at some places , we can still find such homes. They are pleasant to eyes and they give a positive and very chill vibes.
Finally , I reached my organic apple or farm I was so happy to see the flowers all around. Last time I visited this farm, there were very few flowers and I barely noticed. But today to give you a brief view of the farm and the growth of the apple orchards, I have taken numerous pictures. For the record I have taken all these pictures by myself with my camera. From a distance flowers can't be seen easily but when you look closely you can easily spot them.
Here's a picture of a fully blown apple tree and this plant is in the center of the farm so that it can support pollination. One Should always take care about the plants that are specifically grown for pollination , cause the production of the apple orchards directly depends upon the pollination.
Apple Blowssoms
Here are some micro shots of the flowers off apple trees. They are little pinkage , but mostly white and they are so soothin to eyes. Also, there was a pleasant smell coming from these flower, which were attracting more bees, butterflies and numerous other insects.
In this picture you can see a bee inside the flower and it is extracting the juice of the flower and are also helping in pollination. I sometimes like the sound of bees, depending upon the mood, what about you guys? Do let me know in the comments.
These is transformation of color from the pick stagge to completely white stage and the white stage attracts lots of bees for pollination.
Well I must say not all the flowers are fully blossomed, some are at there pink bud stage. This stage occurs before the fully blown flowering stage.
These are some of the early pink bud stages, I don't know exactly about these stages but some of the pictures are after the flowering. Mostly they represent the early bud stages or the pink bud stages.
And when I was roaming around i saw a tree full of fruits and was surprised to see it. As some of the fruiting trees are still blossoming this one was unique to me. Can yiu guys guess the name of the fruits? Do let me know in comment about it.
I went closer to know more about the fruit tree, I wanted to pluck one and eat. But I found out it's not ripened and not ready to eat now. They still need 15 more days to grow properly and I'll return soon to eat them. Well mother earth has lots to offer, I feels so good to eat something grown in your organic farm, you can trust it fully and know it's good for health. I can't express in worlds how good it feels and how grateful I'm fir all of this. This visit to my apple farm was necessary for me, I had mostly forgotten how much hard work is required to grow something organic and the visit was great for my overall health. That's all for today's blog.
Hope you enjoyed!
