After the visit to Florianopolis ended, I embarked towards Rio Grande do Sul.
Before this tragedy that is happening there, I had the opportunity to visit beautiful cities and regions in Rio Grande do Sul.
In this post I'm going to start telling you how this trip through the Serra Gaúcha was. A region that has everything good: nature, culture, food and wine... and yes, great wines!
Fasten your seat belts!
And strength to Rio Grande do Sul, we will emerge stronger from this situation.
First stop: Gramado
After landing at Porto Alegre airport, I took a shuttle to the first stop on this tour, which was in Gramado.
The city that looks like a piece of Europe. Everything very beautiful, clean and organized.
I had to take a photo of one of the most famous places in the city, Rua Torta, which is simply a crooked street. There's not much mystery, haha.
Some say it was inspired by the street in São Francisco, and it really reminded me of there.
Street with its charming curves and garden around, and everyone stops to pose and take photos with it in the background.
When I was walking through the streets, I came across an Alice in Wonderland themed restaurant and decided to book, since I'm a big fan of this story.
A very pleasant city to walk around, especially in the center, which has flat streets. But towards the neighborhood, expect to go up and down several hills.

Expect to find European architecture throughout the city, and the main highlight is the Igreja Matriz São Pedro, a church that has beautiful architecture and ends up being one of the main tourist attractions in the city.

Dinner time
At night, we went there to guarantee our reservation. the name of the restaurant is "Alice and The Hatter".
It was really fun, the restaurant has lots of decorations and characters. The menu is very creative, with drinks and food with names always related to the film and funny.

The dishes are a la carte but there is also a tasting menu with several items to try, and of course with the creative names, you want to order one of each.
And why not order one of each, right? Share and share and try a little of everything!

One of the drinks I ordered was a cocktail called "Alice's Tea", which was a mix of vodka, peach liqueur, orange juice and raspberry syrup.
The food, atmosphere and drinks were delicious, but after a few drinks I was already seeing white rabbits and smiling cats talking to me.

I definitely recommend visiting this restaurant, especially if you are with your family and children. You won't regret it.

During dinner, a musical-style theater play begins telling the story. It seems like all the kids (and adults too) went crazy at the show. The actors are very good and interact with the audience, making it even more fun.
After the play there is a photo session with the actors in costume sitting at Alice's table. It was really fun to combine dinner with theater.
Hotel
Hotel was a spectacle in itself, a reservation made at the last minute, I didn't really know what to expect. But I loved the result, especially the bed, which hugs you when you lie down and makes you want to stay there and not get up in the morning.
The colonial style breakfast serves everything you want, from tapioca and elaborate omelettes, to fruits and yogurts for those more fit. Of course I had to try one of each, I can't be without my cheese bread.
The view from the hotel to the Gaucho mountains was beautiful, at night the plan was to have dinner at the hotel bar, have a drink and then go have wine by the fireplace, and warm up from the cold that was at night.
Incredible Hotel that I totally recommend, with a score of 9.6 on Booking, I give it a 10!

Olá pessoal!
Depois que a visita a Florianopolis acabou, embarquei sentido Rio Grande do Sul.
Antes dessa tragédia que está acontecendo por lá, tive oportunidade de conhecer lindas cidades e regiões do RS.
Nesse post vou começar a contar como foi essa viagem pela serra gaúcha. Região que tem de tudo de bom: natureza, cultura, comida e vinhos. E sim, ótimos vinhos!

Primeira Parada: Gramado
Depois de desembarcar no aeroporto de porto alegre, peguei um shuttle até a primeira parada desse tour, que foi em Gramado.
A cidade que parece um pedaço da Europa. Tudo muito bonito, limpo e organizado.
Tive que tirar foto de um dos lugares mais famosos da cidade, a Rua Torta, que é simplesmente uma rua que é torta. Não tem muito mistério, haha.
Alguns falam que foi inspirado na rua de São Francisco, e realmente me lembrou mesmo de lá.
Rua com seu charme em curvas e jardim ao redor, e todo mundo para para fazer poses e tirar fotos com ela ao fundo.
Quando estava caminhando pelas ruas, me deparei com um restaurante temático da Alice no País das Maravilhas e resolvi reservar, já que sou um grande fã dessa história.
Uma cidade bem gostosa para caminhar, ainda mais no centro, que tem ruas planas. Mas sentido bairro espere subir e descer vários morros.

Espere encontrar uma arquitetura Europeia por toda a cidade, e o Grande destaque fica com a Igreja Matriz São Pedro, uma igreja que tem uma linda arquitetura e acaba sendo um dos principais pontos turísticos da cidade.

Hora do Jantar
Já de noite, fomos lá garantir nossa reserva. o nome do restaurante é "Alice e O Chapeleiro".
Foi bem divertido, restaurante tem várias decorações e personagens. O cardápio é bem criativo, com drinks e comidas com nomes sempre relacionados ao filme e engraçados.

Os pratos são a lá carte mas também tem um menu degustação com diversos itens para experimentar, e é claro que com os nomes criativos, você fica com vontade de pedir um de cada.
E porque não pedir um de cada né? Dividir e compartilhar e experimentar um pouco de tudo!

Um dos drinks que eu pedi foi um coquetel chamado "Chá da Alice", que era uma mistura de vodca, licor de pêssego, suco de laranja e xarope de framboesa.
A comida, o ambiente e os drinks estavam uma delícia, mas depois de alguns drinks eu já estava vendo coelhos brancos e gatos sorridentes falando comigo.

Com certeza recomendo para visitar esse restaurante, ainda mais se estiver em família e com as crianças. Não irá se arrepender.

Durante o jantar, começa uma peça de teatro estilo musical contando a história. Parece que todas as crianças (e os adultos também) piraram no show. Os atores são muito bons e interagem com o publico, deixando mais divertido ainda.
Depois da peça tem a sessão de fotos com os atores fantasiados sentados na mesa da Alice. Foi bem divertido unir jantar com teatro.
Hotel
Hotel foi um espetáculo a parte, uma reserva feita em cima da hora, não sabia muito o que esperar. Mas adorei o resultado com destaque para a cama, que te abraçava quando deita e faz você querer ficar lá e não levantar de manha.
O café da manha estilo colonial servindo tudo o que você quiser, desde tapiocas e omeletes caprichados, até frutas e yogurtes para os mais fitness. Claro que tive que experimentar um de cada, não consigo ficar sem meu pão de queijo.
A vista do hotel para a serra gaucha era linda, de noite a programação foi jantar no bar do hotel, tomar um drink e depois ir tomar um vinho na lareira, e esquentar do frio que estava fazendo de noite.
Hotel Incrível que recomendo totalmente, com uma nota de 9.6 no Booking, eu dou nota 10!
