Last time, I showed you where the mineral rich water flows from Thermopolis' Mineral hot spring. This time, I'll show you some of the magnificent landscape around it.
First, the swinging bridge... This thing is scary to walk across if you have any degree of vertigo or acrophobia! Just the movement of walking a normal gait makes it swing and swing... Then, my younger daughter thought this was funny and made it worse!
While standing there looking at the bridge, this BNSF train came along. I like how it reflected on the river. ( @jamerussell )
Here are some pictures from the other side of the swinging bridge. (Last time, I didn't go all the way across; this time, I did.)
Another picture of the bridge from across... I know there are scarier bridges out there, but this suspension bridge is not my idea of a good time!
And a final picture from where that other stream outlet was that I featured last time - and where the turtles were... but that will come in the next post...
