Summer here can be intense, with scorching temperatures often rising above +40°C. The heat drains your energy quickly, and we’re always looking for ways to cool down. Whenever we can, even if just for a short while, we escape to the nearby mountains where the air is fresher, the temperatures are milder, and nature gives us a chance to breathe again.
This time, we decided to visit one of the region’s popular water reservoirs — a perfect spot for swimming and relaxing. The moment we arrived, we were welcomed by stunning views: clear, calm water surrounded by peaceful, untouched nature. It felt like the perfect summer hideaway.
One of the highlights of the day was taking a boat across the reservoir to explore another side of it. Gliding on the water, surrounded by beauty in every direction, was both calming and exciting — a little adventure for all of us.
The kids were absolutely thrilled. They swam for more than four hours straight, laughing, splashing, and making the most of every second. We may have gotten a bit sunburned by the end of the day (oops! 😂), but luckily nothing serious.
