In this blog I would share with you about my experience on a one day trip to Igatpuri.
Igatpuri is a Hill station known for Waterflls and mountains located three hours from from Mumbai.
We started at around 8 am in the morning after have our early morning breakfast. The weather was cloudy and it was predicted heavy rainfall. We were heading towards the Mumbai Nashik highway and it started to rain heavily.
After such a heavy rainfall we were very happy and excited to the reach the lush green paradise Igatpuri. It is an offbeat place and the best time to visit Igatpuri is from July to September where you can see waterfalls and the whole western ghats with lush green vegetations.
We were halfway done and It was now time to climb to famous Kasara Ghat. It is a mountain pass located in the Western Ghats of Maharashtra. The ghat is known for its Scenic beauty during the monsoon season.
Due to heavy rainfall we were stuck in traffic, but the weather was very cool and pleasant as we were expecting it to be.
