[ESP-ING] Discovering the Magic of beach Big Choroni

Choroni is a magical town, a fishing village and very touristy, it is picturesque, its Caribbean beaches are very beautiful and the water at room temperature that causes to be there all day, we arrived at the village and of course I had to take some pictures of it, the houses are all very well painted and arranged at least those of the town center, the people always keep it very well maintained and very clean.

The streets are made of cement, and when one arrives and sees these streets we are already close to something spectacular, here in town there are many inns, but from here to the beach is about 6 minutes by car, so we keep rolling and we arrived at Puerto Colombia, here there are some inns for all tastes and the largest number of tourists everywhere, there are also many food stalls, beachwear sales, next to the boardwalk we can find the sale of fresh fish at low prices.

From this point you have to roll a little more to get to the beach, and to go there we passed a small bridge, to tell the truth a small river that made a small road for vehicles to pass, in January is crazy to go to the beaches because everyone has the same idea that the sea water brings good luck for the coming year and everyone goes with family to spend these days of sun.

We parked the car and stopped the car in a safe place, not many people had arrived so we left it well stopped and walked just a little to go to the beach, and upon arrival the sand, coconut palms and the sea is the best picture that my eyes could see, everything looked very clean, and the sea breeze is something that achieves revitalizing.

We chose an awning on the beach and placed some umbrellas, the awning seemed a little expensive I guess for the time, it was $ 20 all with a lounger, a table and two chairs, is that in non-festive times we can get it for $ 10.

Something that I really like about this beach is that the sand is very soft and makes you lie on the sand for a long time, and even sleep, I really like to feel the sand on my feet; but what I don't like about this beach is that in some seasons the waves are very strong so there are always lifeguards on this beach because people use to be jumping the waves and many times there are currents that can drag people into the sea so you have to know how to swim, and this day was no different there were waves and a lot of undertow on the beach, so I was very careful not to go too deep and I was watching out for the kids.

There are many places to take pictures on the beach, there is one on a surfboard with the Venezuelan flag on one side and next to it a sign that says in English welcome to Choroni-Venezuela, and further on a very cool swing in front of the sea, and if we continue walking there are some rocks also at the end of the bay that you can take very nice pictures.

For me Choroni is a paradise, a place that nature gives us, here there are many beaches in the surroundings that you can go by boat, we will see what the destination prepares us this year and which we can visit to bring you a little more of these beautiful Venezuelan landscapes.

Choroni es un pueblo mágico, un pueblo pesquero y muy turístico, es pintoresco, sus playas del caribe son muy hermosas y el agua a temperatura ambiente que provoca estar allí todo el día, llegamos.al pueblo y claro que tenía que tomar algunas fotos del mismo, las casa están todas muy bien pintadas y arregladas al menos las del casco del pueblo, el pueblo siempre lo mantienen muy cuidado y muy limpio.

Las calles son hechas de cemento, y cuando uno llega y ve estas calles ya estamos cerca de algo espectacular, aquí en el pueblo hay muchas posadas, pero de aquí a la playa falta como 6 minutos en carro, así que seguimos rodando y llegamos a Puerto Colombia, aquí hay unas posadas para todos los gustos y la mahor cantidad de turistas por todos lados, también hay muchos puestos de comida, ventas de ropa playera, al lado del malecón podemos encontrar la venta de pescado fresco a precios bajos.

De este punto hay que rodar un poco más para llegar a la playa, y para ir hasta allá pasamos un pequeño puente, a decir verdad un pequeño río que le hicieron una pequeña carretera para que pasarán los vehículos, en enero es una locura ir a las playas ya que todo el mundo tiene la misma idea de que el agua de mar trae buena suerte para el año que comienza y se van todos en familia a pasar estos días de sol.

Estacionamos el carro y paramos el carro en un lugar seguro, no había llegado muchas personas así que lo dejamos bien parado y caminamos solo un poco para ir a la playa, y al llegar la arena, las palmas de coco y el mar es el mejor cuadro que mis ojos podían ver, todo se veía muy limpio, y la brisa del mar es algo que logra revitalizando.

Escogimos un toldo a orilla de playa y colocamos unas sombrillas, el toldo me pareció un poco costoso imagino por la época, salía en 20$ todo con una tumbona, una mesita y dos sillas, es que en épocas no festivas lo podemos conseguir en 10$.

Algo que me gusta mucho de esta playa es que la arena es muy suave y provoca tenderse en la arena un buen rato, y hasta dormir, me gusta mucho sentir la arena en mis pies; pero lo que no me gusta de esta playa es que en algunas épocas las olas son muy fuertes por lo que siempre hay salvavidas en esta playa ya que la gente acostumbra a estar saltando las olas y muchas veces hay corrientes que pueden arrastrar a las personas hacia dentro del mar por lo que hay que saber nadar, y este día no fue diferente habían olas encontradas y mucha resaca en la playa, por lo que tuve mucho cuidado a no irme tan profundo y estaba pendiente de los chicos.

Existen muchos espacios para tomarse fotos en la playa, hay uno en una tabla de surf con la bandera de Venezuela a un lado y al lado de ella un letrero que dice en inglés bienvenido a Choroni-Venezuela, y más adelante un columpio bien chevere frente al mar, y si seguimos caminando hay unas rocas también del final de la bahía que se pueden tomar fotos muy bonitas.

Para mi Choroni es un paraíso, un lugar que la naturaleza nos regala, aquí existen muchas playas a los alrededores que se puede ir en lancha, ya veremos que nos prepara el destino este año y cual podremos visitar para traerles un poco más de estos hermosos paisajes Venezolanos.
