MY 2021 RESOLUTIONS || MIS RESOLUCIONES PARA 2021

This is my entry for the “My 2021 Resolutions Contest" and my first ever post on the Blogging Challenge Community. I wish to appreciate @starstrings01 and the entire @blogging-team for their wonderful idea and development that gave birth to this community. Kudos!!!	Esta es mi entrada para el "Concurso Mis resoluciones 2021" y mi primera publicación en la Comunidad del Desafío de blogs. Deseo agradecer a @starstrings01 y a todo el equipo de @blogging-team por su maravillosa idea y desarrollo que dio origen a esta comunidad. prestigio!!!

The past year, 2020, was indeed a year to remember; a year filled with lots of experiences; a year which the whole world stood still in combating a deadly virus; a year which countries battled and are still battling with the presence of the Covid-19 pandemic.	El año pasado, 2020, fue de hecho un año para recordar; un año lleno de experiencias; un año en el que el mundo entero se detuvo en la lucha contra un virus mortal; un año en el que los países lucharon y siguen luchando con la presencia de la pandemia Covid-19.

But we shouldn’t lose hope nor get stuck because of these phenomenal occurrences, rather they should make and mould us into becoming strong and better persons who can easily adapt to any situation.	Pero no deberíamos perder la esperanza ni quedarnos estancados debido a estos sucesos fenomenales, sino que deberían hacernos y moldearnos para convertirnos en personas mejores y fuertes que puedan adaptarse fácilmente a cualquier situación.

We have lots of unkept resolutions, even for the year 2020 and beyond. Most times I ask myself if there is any need for making New Year resolutions when I neither keep half nor any of the items in the New Year Resolutions list.	Tenemos muchas resoluciones incumplidas, incluso para el año 2020 y más allá. La mayoría de las veces me pregunto si hay alguna necesidad de hacer resoluciones de Año Nuevo cuando no guardo ni la mitad ni ninguno de los elementos de la lista de Resoluciones de Año Nuevo.

For this year, I decided to do something different; to make a change and this I wish to share. I decided that rather than making empty promises, in the name of resolution, I better start by living out these virtues or activities little by little in the year 2021 so that I present them as what I have already started working on. Hence, my post had to come a little later for me to be certain before I present them.

Para este año, decidí hacer algo diferente; para hacer un cambio y esto deseo compartir. Decidí que en lugar de hacer promesas vacías, en nombre de la resolución, mejor empezaría por vivir estas virtudes o actividades poco a poco en el año 2021 para presentarlas como en lo que ya he empezado a trabajar. Por lo tanto, mi publicación tuvo que llegar un poco más tarde para estar seguro antes de presentarlos.

I will like to share some of the activities or virtues that I believe can qualify as my New year resolution.	Me gustaría compartir algunas de las actividades o virtudes que creo que pueden calificar como mi resolución de año nuevo.

To an extent, I spent the previous years gathering different skills, from musical skills to writing skills, designing skill to video editing skills and many more. This year 2021 will be a more productive year for me through these skills I have gathered. Thus, it is a call for me perform my skills with excellence, to harness them and produce something creative. I have already started and I will continue to write and upload these contents or production to the hive community, and I will strive to get better at it.

Hasta cierto punto, pasé los años anteriores reuniendo diferentes habilidades, desde habilidades musicales hasta habilidades de escritura, habilidades de diseño hasta habilidades de edición de videos y muchas más. Este año 2021 será un año más productivo para mí gracias a estas habilidades que he adquirido. Por tanto, es un llamado para mí realizar mis habilidades con excelencia, para potenciarlas y producir algo creativo. Ya comencé y continuaré escribiendo y cargando estos contenidos o producción en la comunidad de Hive, y me esforzaré por mejorar en eso.

While it may be very easy to think about success, it is very difficult to work towards success. Although it may be difficult, in this year 2021, I will continuously think and act towards success. I will not count any setback as failure, rather, for me, it connotes that there is an alternative and best route towards success. In the year 2020, there were lots of discouragements from financial constrain to lack of resources, time and mental stability. Then the pandemic followed suit and this culminated with the End Sars Protest for us Nigerians. However, in this year 2021, I will try not to allow any event or activity act as setback or drawback towards me accomplishing my goals.

Si bien puede ser muy fácil pensar en el éxito, es muy difícil trabajar hacia el éxito. Aunque pueda ser difícil, en este año 2021, pensaré y actuaré continuamente hacia el éxito. No contaré ningún revés como fracaso, más bien, para mí, connota que existe una alternativa y la mejor ruta hacia el éxito. En el año 2020, hubo muchos desalientos por la restricción financiera a la falta de recursos, tiempo y estabilidad mental. Luego, la pandemia siguió su ejemplo y esto culminó con la protesta End Sars por nosotros, los nigerianos. Sin embargo, en este año 2021, intentaré que ningún evento o actividad actúe como contratiempo o inconveniente para lograr mis objetivos.

I spoke to few friends about this wonderful family and community, and I still continue to do. Each time I do, I still meet starstrings for guidance and he is always willing to help out. He has been so supportive ever since he brought me to this wonderful family, and he continues to guide me. I wish to show this same supportiveness and assistance to newbies, as well as to bring more people.	Hablé con algunos amigos sobre esta maravillosa familia y comunidad, y todavía sigo haciéndolo. Cada vez que lo hago, sigo encontrando cadenas de estrellas en busca de orientación y él siempre está dispuesto a ayudar. Ha sido un gran apoyo desde que me trajo a esta maravillosa familia y continúa guiándome. Deseo mostrar este mismo apoyo y asistencia a los novatos, así como traer más gente.

The last but not the least is, I will take care of myself and manage the little I have; I will make out time for myself, and for others, assisting and supporting family and friends the little way I can.	Lo último, pero no menos importante, es que me cuidaré y manejaré lo poco que tengo; Haré tiempo para mí y para los demás, ayudando y apoyando a familiares y amigos lo poco que pueda.
