What Will Happen in 5 Years
~―
Personality wise I am an INFJ, for those not familiar with the daughter-mother duo Myers & Briggs, personality type Indicator, the INFJ: I stands for Introvert, N for Intuition, F for Extraverted Feeling and J for Judging. Of course this is not an exact definition of who I am as a whole, actually those in the field of psychology don't consider the Myers & Briggs as a good personality type indicator but still I have learned a lot from exploring all the different types posited by the duo.
With Introverted Intuition and Judging, people with the INFJ personality type, tend to be very future oriented. Intuition helps with creating a visual experience of what the future can actually be, while Judging as a way of perceiving the world, allows for the meticulous planning required in order to achieve the visualized future version.
Visualizing and imaging a my future for me happens so naturally, especially when I am well balanced and don't have a lot weighing me down. When I have a lot on my shoulders, my intuition and planning are highly compromised, turning me into a merely walking bloob of human fresh. Here is a little grimps for you guys of what I think will happen in 5 years:

Since getting started a couple of months back, I am surprised by how far I have come on the platform. I was very afraid of getting started at the very beginning, the fear was so great that I had to wait a minute after creating my account.
Finally I did get started, and since my first post and when I started interacting with the platform, I have come to learn a lot, I have come to see there is so much potential in Decentralized Platforms, where leadership is not really traditional. Blockchain and Decentralized platforms are a great way of disrupting the now old format of centralized leadership.
Everyday I keep learning more and more, day by day, thanks to the #BloggingChallenge Community I have worked on my writing. I have a lot of things to learn, a lot of improvements to make, but without the community I would not have been able to challenge myself to make it a habit to write on a regular basis.
Now in 5 years, I will have powered up my HP to a Whale, I see so much potential in investing in HIVE in comparison to other forms of investment. So instead of having funds say in a an waiting to accumulate some interest at the speed snails would be jealous of, I think giving HIVE a try would be worth much more.
I also recently came across Solidity and during my free time I have been playing around with it just to get a hang of the blockchain world. In 5 years I can see myself part of the core team of Developers helping maintain HIVE and ensure it runs smoothly.
My coding skills currently aren't that great, I require so much practice to build on top of what I know, and you know keep on building new neural pathways, rewiring my brain along the way, changing programming from a tiring task to something more autonomous, like say fast typing.
By next year April I will be done with my Undergraduate studies, and that will give me a lot of time to focus on really mastering specific skills I am super interested in. Currently with school and also trying to get some other things done on the side, it is very easy to get lost and one priority somehow escapes through the cracks.
In 5 years, with continuous practice, and active learning and working on my craft. I will be a senior Developer.
After my undergraduate I plan on taking some time off school, to get started on some things I have been postponing due to the lack of time. With school gone for a while, I can start working on Photography, and something I really want to get done is travel across my country, and capture the different cultures. In my country there are more than 43 different cultures. I have only experienced a few, and would love to learn more...
With the exploration of my country out of the way, I will be working on my plans to relocate to Germany. I want to take postgraduate studies from Germany and also relocate permanently there.
In 5 years time I will have already moved from Kenya to Germany. Probably I will be done with my Masters and onto my PHD studies. I might also change my plans and decide to pursue another degree something other than Computer Science, but I am yet to settle on a final decision on that regard.
I have complained in the past about how schools are turning everyone into obedient beings who rather follow rules rather than listen to their inner voices and pursue what it means to be authentic to oneself, but not to worry guys. I will always be a learner and follower of different philosophical teachings, by the myriad of ancient and contemporary teachers and philosophers. I am sure I will manage maintaining that sense of self, despite being in an institution. There is a point where personally for my own satisfaction I want to reach academically.
...see y'all in my next update!
