Hello, my dear friends of Hive! I hope you are feeling very well, in this opportunity I do not share any drawing with you, but I join the initiative of the team of the @blogging-team community, also SMILE @smi-le and @aliento, whose aim is to share our new year's resolutions. I thought it was a great idea and it just fulfills one of my purposes for the year: to join different initiatives and projects created in the different communities of Hive.
The year 2020 could be summarized as a year of changes, where many of us (to say the least) opened our eyes about the importance of valuing our present and all the things we have, because life will not always give us what we want, but, a firm and positive attitude will keep us active and prepared for any change that may come. That was one of the biggest lessons I have learned, and I intend to continue applying it in this new year.
"Practice makes perfect", is a saying that in a few words, summarizes a great truth. The discipline, commitment and effort we put into every action we want to perform will influence to a greater or lesser degree the results we obtain. That is why this year I want to dare to try new things (like singing, playing the piano, cooking...) so maybe I will add them to my list of hobbies. I will also work on organizing my time better, avoiding procrastination, and committing myself fully to those activities that not only contribute to my creativity and learning (like exercising, improving my English, complying with a reading or study routine, among others), but also influence and demonstrate my level of responsibility and constancy.
One of the goals that I am most excited to achieve is to receive my technical degree in visual arts (with a mention in graphic design). I'm in my last year of school, and, remember that 3 years ago I looked with admiration at the senior boys, and now, realize that I'm in their position, one step closer to graduate and start my own life, choose a career to study in college, find a job with which to cover part of my expenses... It's amazing, and a little intimidating too.
Although my strength is drawing, I also like to write a lot, so participating in this dynamic motivates me to share other types of content, and even explore and investigate other interesting topics that may be of interest to you.
I am still a little new and ignorant in certain aspects of Hive, just a couple of months ago I registered and made my first publication; I am aware that I have many things to learn and that is another of my purposes in the coming months. Also, I would like very much to make friends, support other new users, develop dynamics and projects together with other people in the platform... The sky is the limit, and Hive seems to me an excellent platform capable of unifying and motivating users, so why not support and contribute to their growth.
Once again I thank you for the support you have given me in my posts, every vote and comment you leave encourages me to keep sharing a little bit of myself with you (because at the end of the day, in every post I leave my essence, time and love).
If you are interested in art, I leave you the link to my latest post, an illustration entitled "Strawberry girl":
