The best investment you can make, is in you.
Hello everyone, this is the 2nd day of my 30 Days Blogging Challenge Part Two. The theme for today is Best Investment you Made?
BEST INVESTMENT I MADE?
The best investment I have made and I'm still making is me actually investment in myself. Investing in yourself is actually a simple investment that you will actually enjoy and see big returns. Today I will be sharing some ways in which I have invested in myself and I have watch my life changed for the better.
Reading Books and Blogs
Whenever you talk to millionaires and business owners, one of the things they always recommend as a way of attaining success is to read books. Books give me the power to learn new things and face most of my career challenges. Books can take you to places you’ve never been and give you ideas you never thought of. I always try to make out time to read a book to help boost my way of reasoning, sometimes I just dedicate a day to surfing the web, reading different articles in different blogs to get different views on a particular topic. No knowledge is lost, it's the number one rule in my life, there is always a time that everything you read will be of great importance. So I always invest in myself by reading good books.
Investing in my Future
As each day passes, life always have a way of reminding me to invest in my future. Even while I'm paying others, I try as much as possible to pay myself by actually saving up for my tomorrow. To help boost my savings, I set up an automatic withdrawals from my checking account into my investment account each month. This actually helps me to be disciplined about investing in my future. I want a better life, so I'm investing into having the life I have always dreamt of.
I Never Stop Learning
I always try to grab every opportunity that will lead me to learning something new. I'm always open to learn something new, because we live in a world that, every skill is important. So whenever I see an opportunity to learn something new, I always make sure I find time to learn that thing.
Knowing my limits and Respecting them
No one can take advantage of you only if you let them. That’s one of the biggest lessons I’ve taught myself, sometimes saying NO is just as important as saying YES. I have learnt to say YES and NO to the right things and create boundaries within my life. And just because I say NO to something doesn’t make me a bad person. In fact, knowing my limits and respecting them is what make me a great person!
I understand my strengths and I know my weaknesses, this is what make me a stronger individual.
Creating Multiple Income Streams
Because I have invested in myself to learn different skills, I'm able to create different means of earning cash aside my 9 to 5 job. Having more control over my money means reducing the risk of a single revenue source and earning money from different avenues. A side hustle can make me extra money aside from my day job. And maybe one day I can quit to work for myself to know how to make money on the side, at my spare time.
