We support long form content on the hive chain! Afraid self publishing is a waste of time and money?! Look no further.

Hello world. I am very excited and proud to present a hive community to support long form content on the block-chain!

It's amazing that in this information highway age we don't have support of e-books on our hive chain. Personally, I've always wanted to figure out a way to publish e-books for monetized crypto {for more than pennies.}

There are lots of writers on hive: but somehow this doesn't translate into lots of dollars. Of course writing should be done for passion; but writing is also an excellent carrier! It's amazing writing is still centralized in a society obsessed with decentralization. Most writers accept they will work hard for nothing. We can change that with a central hub to post books.

The main focus of this community will be e-books. However, we will be happy to vote for: poetry, short stories, freewrites and everything else that is already receiving votes under the "writing" tag. Our biggest votes however will be reserved for e-books and audiobooks posted through 3speak.

If you are a writer you should join this group. We need centralized areas or writers won't survive. Long form writing has to compete with blogs ... which are more flashy and easier to read quickly. Basically we have to compete with instant gratification.

There are enough of us though to support each other. Eventually, I believe we could even onboard new authors to hive if we can prove one can make a few bucks publishing here. That's the issue, is that its only profitable to do short poetry and freewrites that don't take much time and energy to craft. Let's change that so we can craft masterpieces and it will actually pay for itself .. or at least some supplimental income for giving our all as writers.
