My whole life, I must admit, I have been afraid of cockroaches, and you know what I hate the most—the flying ones! I don't just hate them; they disgust me. Yikes! I get really irritated at seeing one, and my whole system just begins to feel someone that moment at the sight of a cockroach.

I know that I am a man, and this is why I am trying to overcome the fear of cockroaches, and I am doing my best at it. This post was inspired because I got in contact with those demons yesterday, and since then, any tiny sound or a tiny feel on my body has made me go haywire.
So this was how it happened yesterday. I was working on my laptop, and I started feeling like using the restroom—not to urinate but to do other stuff—and I was really pressed. I had to rush to the toilet to offload those goodies in my stomach, and then I came to the sight of a cockroach in my toilet.
At the sight of the cockroach, I didn't know what happened, but I didn't feel pressed again. All I wanted to do was kill the cockroach, but in my attempt to kill it, it flew. That moment, I ran out of the bathroom.
My mind was calculating how I could slay the dragon as I ran out of the bathroom, leaving my sword—actually, a broom—in the bathroom. Then I remembered I had an insecticide that I could spray on it to kill it. I went straight to get my magic wand—the insecticide—in order to finish the battle.

Here is my magic wand...
I went back to the bathroom to continue the battle, took the wand, and said the magic word as I faced the wand at the cockroach on the wall, Abakadabra. Immediately, the cockroach fell off the floor. I took my sword, which is my broom, and then slayed the cockroach.
At that moment, I thought the war was over. As I was about to leave the toilet to return my wand, another cockroach flew from nowhere, unexpectedly.
With the fear that gripped me, I fell straight to the floor. I didn't fall a little; I fell hard on the drum that I use to keep water in my bathroom. I felt the pain of falling, and it was so painful. Mind you, I have not yet eased myself from using the toilet, even after the fall.
The moment I fell, I didn't even feel the pain of the fall. All I did was stand up immediately, find my magic wand, and shout "Abacadabra" at the second flying cockroach. I was so pissed and irritated at the same time. I had to make sure the cockroach was dead for sure, and then after that, I started searching for any other cockroach that could come out from nowhere. I sprayed my magic wand everywhere in the bathroom to be 100% sure I didn't get any unwanted surprises.
It was after this that I eased myself and laid off those things troubling me in my stomach.
I need some advice
If you are here and are not afraid of cockroaches, especially the flying ones, please, how do you do it? It would not be nice if I encountered a flying cockroach in a public area. I would definitely be the first person to run away.
