I met Jessica on Facebook. She had made this hilarious comment on a mutual friend's post which I commented on. She replied and somehow, we made a thread in the comment section.

Now before I continue, This post is a submission to Paritae blogging competition "Dating Chronicles"
So, back to the Story...
Seizing the moment, I sent her a friend request. Moments after, she accepted and sent me a "..hi! Good afternoon." That was fast and surprising. That’s because some ladies actually take a while before they accept your request and rarely do they message first. I was wowed.
Myself and Jessica hit it off immediately. We chatted for hours long and soon, emotions were running
high. She was so smart and intelligent and witty with her answers and with the way she chatted. Her sense of humour was perfect, even her use of punctuations. And in my head, I was thinking of happily ever after.
Occasionally we would have voice calls and video calls. Most of the times when we had our video calls which was usually in the mornings, Jessica was at the gym. She’s what I call a "gym-rat". Every single morning, she's exercising(she calls herself the Hulk) and I found it quite pleasing and interesting because I like ladies who are fit.
She mentioned that she liked to eat a lot while I thought it was one of all these ladies talk about how they loved food yet they could not even finish a little plate of food.
We continued to stay in touch and enjoy each others company online. Although we were in the same city, we never got to meet up until we had a family event at my place and so I invited her over. Thankfully, she
accepted.
On the party day, I came out to pick her at the spot where I had asked her cab driver to bring her to and as she got out of the ride, my mouth hung open. Calm down, it's not what you're imagining. I least expected the person standing before me.
Now, she was a king-size. She was about 6 feet 4 and was towing over me. Her trousers could be
used to make three pairs for me and she also wore a size 43 shoe. Just how? That aside, she was very beautiful.
I composed myself, walked up to her, gave her a hug and took her into the event hall and around to greet my family. She was charming.
When it was time to eat, can you believe that this girl finished four wraps of fufu? I can only eat one. I I was very shocked. She must have seen it written on my face and so laughed and told me, "....Shey I told you that I’m a foodie. This serving would not even fill me. I’ll eat more."
Everyone had been stealing glances at her and I was embarrassed but masking it in laughter. She
finished that and went for pepper-soup and rice. Ha! Soon after, it was time for games and fun.
Jessica and I played a while. One thing I noticed about her was, she played like a kid. She would laugh and jump and yell and just be everywhere. She was like a magnet and all of the kids at the event were all around her. Watching her play, you'd think she was a 5 year old in an old lady's body. We let
her have all the fun she wanted(with the little kids). She kept calling out to me to join them but I playfully and politely declined.
I left her to be with my friends and as I was speaking to them, I felt my legs leave the ground. I tried to force myself down but couldn’t. I managed to turn my head around to see that Jessica was the one carrying me..like I was nothing. To make matters worse, she started running with me in her arms(like a baby) with the other little kids at the event chasing after her and singing at the top of their voice and to the notice of everyone at the event, "garri bag!....garri bag!!…"
I begged her to put me down but she didnt. She was just laughing and running around. Damn! I almost cried. I don't know how I managed through that day. Till date, my family still taunts me with that occurrence. Plus my crazy friends made a video.
I hope you enjoyed this.
Thanks for stopping by.
