Nerd By Northwest #230 – “Don’t Mess With People Handling Your Food”

While I do not miss the string of food service McJobs from my youth AT ALL, I am of the opinion that most people would benefit from spending at least a few months working a food service job. Being on that side of the counter when you have an arrogant, entitled pain in the butt customer really helps you appreciate the patience needed for such work and how not to act like a turd when the roles are reversed.

The downside of it though is it makes one slightly paranoid. I STILL have reservations about ordering food from places where I'm not in view of where the food is made. Once you've taken a bite from the apple of knowledge, you're never quite the same... 😳
