Note for HIVErs: I posted this on the Kickman home page a few days ago. I totally forgot that it doesn't automatically upload here to my Hive Blog. It used to, there was a plug-in for Steemit on Wordpress, but I think the Hive one I had stopped working or something. Anyway, here is Angelina.
I was killing time in Panera on Good Friday so thought what better way to spend this incredibly Holy Day than drawing this bikini-clad, demon-adjacent floozy happily-married woman. Feel free to print this out on photo paper or high-quality card stock to make your very own (and very first) KICKMAN(tm) brand trading card!
I've still got about three hours before I move into my next pet-sitting gig in Redwood City, California. Thought I'd take this time to experiment with some drawing and shading techniques.
New Kickman chapter is starting soon, and I was actually thinking about changing the format to a standard comic page size. In case I wanted to make a print version of the upcoming absolutely epic chapter in comic book format. The problem with that is, I rarely plot out an entire chapter at a time. And if I want to make an actual print comic, then I have to actually concern myself with things like page layouts and page count. So I decided, screw that noise. I'll stick with the webcomic format I've been using since the early, early days. When DC's brand new public web-comic site, long since abandoned, convinced me that this 4:3 ratio would be the industry standard for webcomics because everyone uses a regular computer monitor to read these things and would never use their mobile, cellular phones to read comics.
Oh, actually, it's been a long time since I updated the "Our Heroes" page. I guess Angelina can go there. Need to make some stats for her... Guess I can also make a Lady Crane. The "Supporting Cast" page hasn't been updated in even longer. It's pretty much just the Justice Rangers and half of them are dead. A long time ago I came across someone in a Reddit comic group whose whole shtick was making 3-panel origin comic strips for heroes and... as far as I know... never use them again for an actual story. I'd kind of like to do that for all the supporting characters. Because I really need to add more work to my load.
Well, enjoy your Angelina cards everyone!
