The Hive Tip Bar is based precisely on the tips that users are willing to leave if they like your content, so all posts published around here have to have the Decline option active when publishing (otherwise I will mute the posts).
How to give a tip in a post?
The tipping feature is a Peakd.com exclusive that allows to give extra support to creators away from the reward pool. To give a tip just go to the post of your choice and hit the 3 dots below the votes and comments, just think you are going to give a Downvote to someone but instead you hit Send Tip, a window will open where you can put the amount as well as leave a message to the author, after that just confirm the request with your active password (or Hivesigner) and after a few minutes your tip will be visible in the post.
Now that you know the basics you can go ahead and post something, the bar is open for all sorts of interesting topics and I think it will be a space to be away from the pressure of the bounty pool and be able to talk about topics that don't cover a whole 1000 word post, it's an experiment that I will be supporting users who open the most interesting posts, you know the usual rules, no spam, no jerk behavior, no cross-posting for now and in general have fun, the rules are very simple and I will be adding more according to the situations that are generated, the bar is open and I hope you can have a good time here!
