The days are already quite monotonous, and there is a certain routine in this. The same routine that psychologists talk about so much now. They emphasize the importance of having rituals so that the body is not in a constant state of anxiety.

From the first days of the war, getting into the Territorial Defense, or even more so into the Armed Forces of Ukraine, is not at all easy. We can say that there is a lot of competition between candidates - there are a lot of applicants and those who have richer military experience are selected. All the rest go to the exercises, remain "in reserve" or continue to live the life of an ordinary citizen, trying to work and pay taxes. Whenever possible, people are involved in volunteer activities.

There are several guys in our house who serve in the ranks of the Territorial Defense. Our soldiers often come to them to take a shower or eat. We try our best to support them and never refuse to help. As I write this text, my husband is driving the military around the checkpoints in his car. I believe that our strength lies in the well-coordinated work and unity of the entire nation.

Despite the fact that today is Saturday, for many Ukrainians it was a working day due to the holiday on March 7, before the International Women's Day. In the last 2 weeks, many projects in my company have been frozen, and some contracts had to be terminated altogether (development teams refused to implement systems or provide technical support to companies that are in any way connected with Russia). Many marketing activities have been canceled, as well as training events. All this could not but affect my work. I began to receive fewer tasks, which at first made me worry. Today the company has become more active and I have worked full-time, which made me very happy. I want to believe that Ukrainian companies, like the one I work for, will continue to operate to support the economy in Ukraine during and after the war.

Every day I watch news about humanitarian corridors from hot spots. I sincerely rejoice when it is possible to evacuate people, and I am endlessly upset if the evacuation fails due to the fault of the russian occupiers, who vilely shoot innocent people, their children, their cars...

I am seized with endless contempt, disgust and hatred when I hear the intercepted conversations of the occupiers with their no less disgusting wives and girlfriends. They brag about their looting activities, promise to bring "gifts" from Ukraine, tell how much they managed to loot. This reminds me of how russian tourists at the border control in Egypt or Turkey boast about how they cleverly stole the towels from the room. A nation of shame and perverted values. There is nothing to talk about with them.

I try not to think about the bad and put the most terrible news on "quarantine" in my own head. Often the most terrible forecasts do not come true, provocations fail, and much can be prevented or eliminated. To calm down a little bit, we watch the stream of Toronto TV every night. Their patriotic humor comforts me a lot.
