Hello! Lately, I've been a bit "jammed" and have been completely devoted to fishing. I go fishing in the morning, in the afternoon, and late at night, when I have to use a flashlight. There are two reasons for this activity. Firstly, the warm season will soon be over. Secondly, I saw a fisherman filling the garden with beautiful tench, roach and pike. Perhaps his sporting interest has awakened, and therefore, he is going fishing again.
In the past years, I never had to catch tench. Sometimes I would catch carp in the ponds, rarely perch, and most often good old crucian carp. I have been catching crucian carp since early childhood. But tench are another matter. It turns out that they are very cautious and fishermen recommend using thin fishing line and small hooks. And they don't bite very often. Over the past week, I've noticed that on sunny days, especially in the afternoon, you shouldn't expect a bite. Several times I went fishing in the morning and also to no avail. But in the evening there is at least a little activity.
Tench is an unpretentious fish, slow and sedentary. There is a theory that it got its name due to its natural laziness. But most likely, the name still refers to the change in color, the so-called molting. Hence the word.
It is not easy to catch a large tench. I looked on Wikipedia: the fish reaches maturity at the age of 3 years with a body length of about 18 centimeters. Then it actively grows and after some 5 years the active phase of growth stops. In general, tench live for about 16 years and sometimes reach a weight of 7 kilograms.
I use an ordinary worm for bait. You can't do without feeding. I have to buy flavored mixtures in the store. As a rule, I take something with the smell of garlic. It is suitable for all members of the carp family. I mix the mixture with ordinary mud, form small balls and throw them closer to the float. Now all I have to do is wait.
While I have a free minute, I take a couple of photos near the pond. In fact, when you're fishing, your hands are always dirty and you don't feel like taking pictures. I'm surprised at how video bloggers manage their fishing equipment.
Several hours of complete silence. Not everyone can withstand so much time of contemplation of the picture of reeds, floats, blue sky and sun. And the sun, by the way, if it doesn't shine directly into your eyes, it reflects off the surface of the water and still shines directly into your eyes. My back hurts, my hands are pricked in some places by fishing hooks, mosquitoes have already drunk all 3 liters of my blood, but for me all of the above continues to be a great pleasure. Probably, I am exactly that person, a member of the tribe of fishermen.
I finally got a bite. Usually tench pulls away like a carp. But this one just bit like a small crucian carp or roach. Today's first tench, as it turned out later, weighed 750 grams. I pulled it out without a net in the reeds. I don't have a photo from this particular spot. In addition to the reeds, there was a bush that grew about a meter and a half from the shore, and a tree branch leaning over the river. I had to lift the line and carry it over the water plants. The fishing rod was incredibly bent, but it held up. I am grateful to the manufacturers. In my practice, taking into account numerous obstacles, it was a rare case when a rather large specimen was successfully delivered to the shore.
A short time later, there was another tench on the shore. However, he pulled it out in another, more convenient place. The bite was in the late afternoon. Apparently, the fish decided to have a snack before dark. That's how another day of fishing went: a nice trophy and, as always, communication with nature.

Чергове полювання на лина: неповторна природа знову радує
Привіт! Останнім часом мене трішки “переклинило” і я повністю віддався риболовній справі. Буваю на рибалці й зранку, й вдень, й пізно ввечері, коли вже доводиться користуватися ліхтариком. Причин такої активності дві. По-перше, тепла пору року вже скоро скінчиться. По-друге, бачив як один рибалка добряче наповнив садок гарними линами, плотвою та щуками. Можливо проснувся спортивний інтерес, а тому, знову на риболовлю.
В минулі роки мені не доводилося ловити линів. Іноді на ставках попадалися коропи, рідко окунь, а найчастіше — старий-добрий карась. Карасів ловив з раннього дитинства. Але з линами інша справа. Виявляється, вони дуже обережні й для рибалки рекомендують використовувати тонку волосінь та маленькі гачки. Та й клює він нечасто. Вже за останній тиждень помітив, що в сонячні дні, а особливо вдень, кльову чекати не варто. Кілька разів був на рибалці зранку й також безрезультатно. Зате ввечері є хоча б невелика активність.
Лин невибаглива риба, повільна й малорухлива. Є теорія, що свою назву він отримав у зв'язку зі своєю природною лінню. Але скоріш за все, назва все-таки має відношення до зміни забарвлення, так званої ліньки. Звідси й слово “лин”.
Спіймати великого лина нелегко. Глянув у Вікіпедію: зрілості риба досягає у віці 3 років при довжині тіла близько 18 сантиметрів. Потім він активно росте й вже через якісь 5 років активна фаза збільшення в розмірах припиняється. А взагалі лини живуть близько 16 років й іноді досягають ваги 7 кілограмів.
Для наживки використовую звичайного Червяка. Без підгодовування не обійтися. Доводиться купувати запашні суміші у магазині. Як правило, беру щось з запахом часнику. Вона підходить для всіх представників родини коропових. Змішую суміш зі звичайним болотом, формую невеличкі кульки й кидаю ближче до поплавка. Тепер залишається тільки чекати.
Поки є вільна хвилина роблю пару світлин біля водойми. Насправді коли відпочиваєш на рибалці, руки завжди брудні й зовсім не до знімання. Дивуюсь, як управляються зі своєю технікою рибалки відеоблогери.
Кілька годин повної тиші. Не кожен зможе витримати стільки часу споглядання картинки з очерету, поплавків, синього неба та сонця. А сонце, до речі, якщо не світить прямо в очі, то відбивається з поверхні води й все одно світить прямо в очі. Болить спина, руки в деяких місцях поколоті риболовними гачками, комарі випили вже всі 3 літри моєї крові, але для мене все вищеописане продовжує залишатися величезним задоволенням. Ймовірно, я є саме тією людиною, членом племені рибалок.
Нарешті дочекався кльову. Зазвичай лин тягне в сторону, як короп. Але цей просто клював, неначе невеличкий карасик чи плотва. Сьогодні перший лин, як пізніше з'ясувалося, вагою 750 грамів. Витягнув його без підсака в очереті. Світлина саме з цього місця відсутня. Крім очерету заважав кушир, який розрісся десь на півтора метра від берега, а зверху до річки нахилилося гілля дерева. Довелося підіймати лина й нести його над водяними рослинами. Вудка неймовірно зігнулася, але витримала. Дякую виробникам. В моїй практиці з врахуванням численних перешкод це був рідкісний випадок, коли досить немалий екземпляр був з успіхом доставлений на берег.
Через невеликий проміжок часу на березі вже був ще один лин. Правда, витягнув його в іншому, більш зручному місці. Покльовка була пізнього вечора. Видно, риба вирішила перекусити перед наступом темноти. Ось такий черговий день рибалки: приємний трофей та як завжди — спілкування з природою.
