On this beautiful day, I want to share with you some of these moments I experience as a mother that fill me with pride and excitement with every step each of my children takes. This time it was Kevin's turn to speak at his solar system project presentation; I hope you enjoy what I'm about to share.

Whenever I have these types of activities, we try to prepare ourselves as best as possible. The teacher placed the kids in pairs; I was in contact with the other child's mom; in this case, it was a girl, and together we planned every detail of the project.

We gathered to make two models, one of the planet Jupiter, which was the main focus they had, and the other of a constellation in the solar system. We had a lot of work, but when things are done with love and dedication, everything turns out well. Kevin particularly liked this topic; he asked a lot of questions. It's an interesting, beautiful, and content-rich topic.

The day I had to meet with the classmate's mom to finalize details and kick off the project was in the afternoon. We had lunch and went to her house, which is close to ours, and while the kids played, we, the moms, planned what we were going to do.

We bought the materials we were going to use for the job and adjusted the costumes they were going to wear since they were all white or beige. Also the astronaut helmet. We had time for everything in the two days we met, and we finally started working on everything for the project, including the snacks we would bring.

When the day arrived, my son Kevin had already learned his part of the point he was supposed to present; he was a bit quiet, I imagine because of the nerves. Upon arrival, almost everyone was there to start, and thanks to God and all the love we put into it, the kids did excellently; that was the idea.

These events make me feel so important in my children's lives, and I enjoy them as a mother; every detail makes me proud, that they did so well, and being able to share it with you makes it even more special. That's all for today; see you in the next post.

En el cierre de proyecto de mi hijo Kevin

Hola, amigos, bienvenidos a mi blog. En este día tan bonito, les quiero compartir un poco de estos momentos que vivo como madre y que me llenan de orgullo y emoción cada paso que da cada uno de mis hijos. Esta vez le tocó a Kevin hablar en su cierre de proyecto del sistema solar; espero les guste lo que les voy a contar.

Siempre que tengo este tipo de actividades tratamos de prepararnos lo mejor posible. La maestra colocó grupo de dos niños; yo estuve en contacto con la mamá del otro integrante; en este caso era niña y junto con ella planificamos cada detalle del proyecto.

Nos reunimos para realizar dos maquetas, una del planeta Júpiter, que era el punto principal que les tocó, y la otra de una constelación del sistema solar. Tuvimos mucho trabajo, pero cuando se hacen las cosas con amor y dedicación, todo sale bien. Este tema en particular a Kevin le gustó mucho; hacía muchas preguntas. Es un tema interesante, bonito y lleno de contenido.

El día que me tocó reunirme con la mamá de la compañerita para ajustar detalles y dar inicio al proyecto fue después de mediodía. Almorzamos y nos fuimos hasta su casa, que está cerca de la nuestra, y mientras los niños jugaban, nosotras, las mamás, planificábamos qué íbamos a hacer.

Compramos los materiales con los que íbamos a realizar el trabajo y ajustamos el vestuario que se iban a poner debido a que era todo blanco o beige. También el casco de astronauta. Nos dio tiempo para todo en los dos días que nos reunimos y ya por fin comenzamos a realizar todo para el proyecto, incluyendo el refrigerio que llevaríamos.

Cuando llegó el día, ya mi hijo Kevin se había aprendido su parte del punto que le tocó exponer; estaba un poco callado, me imagino por los nervios. Al llegar, ya estaban casi todos para dar inicio y, gracias a Dios y a todo el amor que le pusimos, los niños salieron excelentes; esa era la idea.

Estos eventos me hacen sentir tan importante en la vida de mis hijos y los disfruto como madre; cada detalle me enorgullece, que lo hizo tan bien y poder compartirlo con ustedes lo hace aún más especial. Esto es todo por el día de hoy; nos vemos en el siguiente post.
