Siempre les comento en mis publicaciones de maternidad que me la paso leyendo información y técnicas para mejorar o tener una crianza saludable y funcional para nosotras, Luna y yo, me tope con una idea super genial que debía intentar con Luna. Se trataba de una herramienta hecha en casa para que los niños practiquen las sumas y las restas de manera divertida, más interactiva y que les facilita las cuentas.
I always tell you in my maternity posts that I spend my time reading information and techniques to improve or have a healthy and functional upbringing for us, Luna and me, I came across a super cool idea that I had to try with Luna. It was a homemade tool for the kids to practice addition and subtraction in a fun, interactive way that makes it easier for them to do their math.
Todo lo utilizado lo tenía en casa, no compre absolutamente nada, claro cabe destacar que soy una persona que guarda cosas que sé que Luna puede necesitar para las manualidades del colegio, mi pareja siempre me reclama que soy una acumuladora de basura jajaja, pero sé que las voy a necesitar para hacer manualidades y así reciclamos, entonces, cada cartón, o plástico que sé que pueda servir lo guardo.
I had everything I used at home, I did not buy anything at all, of course it is worth mentioning that I am a person who keeps things that I know Luna may need for school crafts, my partner always claims that I am a garbage hoarder hahaha, but I know I will need them to make crafts and so we recycle, then, every cardboard or plastic that I know I can use I keep it.
Lo primero es calcar las manitas de tu niño o niña en el cartón, luego recortarlas, le haces un corte superficial en el medio de los dedos como para que se puedan doblar hacia dentro, recortas cuadritos pequeños de cierre mágico y pegas en la punta de cada dedo de las manitas, en el dedo y en la base de la mano donde dobla el dedo (cabe destacar jeje), yo no tenía cierre mágico en mi casa así que, en cambio, use tirro de papel que es más sencillo de pegar y despegar (era lo que tenía así que resolví con eso jeje) . Ahora, por otro lado, recorta un rectángulo de cartón del tamaño a tu criterio, allí van los números, así que puedes calcular más o menos que tanto espacio vas a necesitar. Por ejemplo yo usé un pedazo un poco grandecito porque Luna va por sumas y restas de 3 cifras, entonces tome en cuenta el espacio que podía necesitar.
The first thing to do is to trace your child's hands on the cardboard, then cut them out, make a shallow cut in the middle of the fingers so that they can bend inwards, cut out small squares of magic zipper and glue on the tip of each finger of the little hands, on the finger and on the base of the hand where the finger bends (it is worth mentioning hehe), I didn't have a magic zipper at home so, instead, I used a paper strip which is easier to glue and peel off (it was what I had, so I solved with that hehe). Now, on the other hand, cut out a rectangle of cardboard of the size you want, there go the numbers, so you can calculate more or less how much space you will need. For example, I used a little big piece of cardboard because Luna goes for 3-digit additions and subtractions, so I took into account how much space I would need.
Luego con la pega blanca pegue las manitas arriba del cartón base, una en cada esquina, recorte 6 cuadrados pequeños donde irán los números, pegue debajo de las manitas, 3 cuadraditos, 3 filas, que serían: dos filas para los números que se van a calcular y una fila para el resultado, entre las manitas coloque otro cuadrito de cartón para anotar el signo, es decir, él más (+) o él menos (-), para que el niño identifique que está calculando, ya para finalizar en los cuadros donde van los números peque cinta adhesiva transparente, cosa de que se pueda escribir encima con marcador acrílico y se pueda borrar fácilmente con un pañito y estamos listos.
Then with the white glue stick the little hands on top of the cardboard base, one in each corner, cut out 6 small squares where the numbers will go, stick under the little hands, 3 little squares, 3 rows, that would be: two rows for the numbers to be calculated and one row for the result, between the hands place another cardboard square to write the sign, that is, the plus (+) or minus (-), so that the child can identify that he is calculating, and to finish in the boxes where the numbers go small transparent adhesive tape, so that you can write on it with acrylic marker and can be easily erased with a tissue and we are ready.
Yo le di detalles a las manitas, como las uñas y las pinte para que se vieran divertidas jaja, en la base del cartón use un papel de forrar cuadernos que me había quedado de la escuela y listo así quedo, falta hacer la prueba con la señorita y nos pusimos manos a la obra, aquí adjunto video de cómo nos fue.
I gave details to the little hands, like the nails and painted them to make them look fun haha, in the base of the cardboard I used a notebook lining paper that I had left from school and that's how it was, I had to do the test with the lady and we got down to work, here I attach a video of how it went.
La verdad a Luna le encanto la herramienta, por lo general Luna se aburre mucho haciendo cuentas, cuando se equivocaba y le borraba el error se ponía a llorar porque debía empezar de nuevo, era frustrante y hacer esta herramienta la ayudo muchísimo, pues le puedo poner muchas cuentas y ella ni me reclama que son muchas porque se divierte usando los deditos y también le gusta la acción de borrar con el pañito, superada las prácticas de sumas y restas, me siento feliz jaja y ella también.
The truth is that Luna loved the tool, usually Luna is very bored doing math, when she made a mistake and I erased the error she started to cry because she had to start again, it was frustrating and making this tool helped her a lot, because I can put many accounts and she does not even claim to me that there are many because she has fun using her fingers and she also likes the action of erasing with the handkerchief, she has overcome the practice of addition and subtraction, I feel happy haha and so does she.
Espero se atrevan hacer esta actividad, porque pueden armarla con ellos y pasan un tiempo agradable juntos usando la creatividad y ya luego terminada usamos la lógica y el cálculo, aprendemos más de forma divertida, todos salimos beneficiados en muchos sentidos, así que se las recomiendo muchísimo amigos.
