Hola familia de @motherhood, espero se encuentren muy bien. Les cuento lo que sucedió en el cumpleaños de Luna, el día más esperado del año para ella, aparte de la Navidad jajaja. Ella cumple los 18 de febrero, pero ayer fue que se lo pudimos celebrar y les cuento por qué.

Como madre me he dispuesto hacer que Luna se sienta especial en sus cumpleaños, bueno la hago sentir especial siempre jaja, pero en su cumple trato de hacer algo que le guste mucho, esto no tiene que ver tanto con el dinero, porque, pues no es lo que los niños valoran en su corazón, ellos simplemente quieren ver a sus seres queridos juntos celebrándola, jugar entre todos con ella, darle mimos y atención. Luna le gusta playa, amiguitos con quien jugar o jugar con sus padres y abuelos, un pastel para cantar cumpleaños y esta vez sí me pidió una piñata, ya que por lo general no soy de comprar piñata y ella quería vivir su experiencia jaja.
As a mother I have been willing to make Luna feel special on her birthdays, well I always make her feel special haha, but on her birthday I try to do something that she really likes, this is not so much about money, because it is not what children value in their hearts, they just want to see their loved ones together celebrating her, playing with her, giving her cuddles and attention. Luna likes the beach, friends to play with or play with her parents and grandparents, a cake to sing birthday and this time she asked me for a piñata, since I usually don't buy piñatas and she wanted to live her experience haha.
Ella cumple los 18 de febrero, pero desde noviembre ya Luna está pendiente de Navidad y de su cumpleaños jajaja, es impaciente y desesperante porque pregunta a cada momento: ¿cuántos días faltan para mi cumpleaños?, llego enero y seguía preguntando, le dije que ya, ya estaba cansada de que debe esperar el día con paciencia jajaja. Pues ella misma en medio de su emoción agarro un papel y coloco los días que faltaban y lo pego en la pared de su cuarto para ir tachando los días cada que se despertaba en las mañanas jajaja, no podía creer el nivel al que llego jajaja, pero me pareció muy lindo, dejaba saber que estaba muy emocionada por ese día, lo cual causaba un poco de presión en mi jajaja, pero bueno la deje ser y sentir.

Yo en privado con mi pareja y la madrina de Luna comenzábamos a planificar lo que íbamos a hacer sin que ella se enterase, mi pareja le quiso regalar a Luna la piñata y la mando hacer, mientras que mi comadre y yo nos dedicamos a planificar lo del pastel, a Luna le gusta de fresas así que queríamos hacerla nosotras mismas, pero ambas estábamos muy ocupadas así que luego de unos días ella me propuso mandarla hacer con una conocida que las hace muy bien y económicas, piñata y pastel listo. Yo tengo la tradición, por así decirlo, de hacerle a Luna una sesión de fotos antes de su cumple para tenerlas de recuerdo a través del tiempo, pero esta vez decidimos hacer un video de transición que adjunto aquí jeje espero les guste.

Por suerte el 18 caía un domingo, entonces listo, iríamos a la playa como a ella le gusta, toda la familia, yo había comprado un juego inflable con pelota, un frisbee y así jugaríamos todos con ella. Un día antes del cumpleaños me llama mi comadre informándome que su conocida se enfermó y no podrá hacer la torta, el piso se me movió jajajaja ya no había tiempo así que no quedo de otra que mandar hacer la torta en una tienda, solo que era costosito, corrí para la tienda, ya que siempre se acaban las de fresas porque son muy buenas la verdad y así fue, ya no había, les rogué que me hicieran una para el día siguiente, ellos lo pensaron y meditaron porque no hacen torta los domingos jajaja hasta que aceptaron hacerla.
Luckily the 18th fell on a Sunday, so ready, we would go to the beach as she likes, the whole family, I had bought an inflatable game with a ball, a frisbee and so we would all play with her. One day before the birthday her godmother called me informing me that her acquaintance got sick and could not make the cake, the floor moved me hahahaha there was no time so there was no other choice but to have the cake made in a store, only that it was expensive, I ran to the store, since they always run out of strawberry ones because they are wonderful and so it was, there were no more, I begged them to make me one for the next day, they thought about it and meditated because they don't make cake on Sundays hahaha until they agreed to make it.
Resulta que esa misma noche del sábado, a unas horas del domingo Luna comienza a sentirse muy mal, paso la noche con fiebre, estaba super caliente, fue devastador porque ella estaba soñando con ese día y me sentí muy mal por ella, tuve que explicarle que lo planeado debía ser cancelado hasta que se sintiera mejor, ella se puso muy triste, pero luego entendió. Se le bajó la fiebre como a las 3 de la madrugada y pudimos dormir un poco, en la mañana Luna estaba con calentura otra vez, les mande mensajito a todos que se cancela la playa porque Luna tenía fiebre, que simplemente le cantaríamos cumpleaños al finalizar la tarde y listo. Y así fue, ella pasó el día acostadita, llamo a su prima que está afuera del país y hablaron como por dos horas, luego llamo su papá que también vive fuera del país y ya en la tardecita llegaron sus 4 abuelos para cantarle cumpleaños y consentirla un poquito.
It turns out that same Saturday night, a few hours into Sunday Luna began to feel very bad, she spent the night with fever, she was super hot, it was devastating because she was dreaming of that day and I felt very bad for her, I had to explain to her that the planned trip had to be canceled until she felt better, she was very sad, but then she understood. Her fever went down around 3 am and we were able to sleep a little bit, in the morning Luna was hot again, I sent a little message to everyone that the beach was cancelled because Luna had a fever, we would just sing her birthday at the end of the afternoon and that was it. And so it was, she spent the day lying down, she called her cousin who is out of the country and they talked for about two hours, then her dad called who also lives out of the country and in the afternoon her 4 grandparents arrived to sing her birthday and spoil her a little bit.
Ella estaba tranquila hasta que se recordó que no se pudo hacer su fiesta y se volvió a sentir un poco mal, todos acordamos hacerla el domingo siguiente, y pues ella tuvo que esperar otra semana más, para sanar y sentirse mejor, resulto que tenía una gripecita, pero no evoluciono a nada más, le di sus medicinas en la semana y ya el jueves estaba mucho mejor. Y pues lo prometido es deuda, este domingo fuimos a la playa para celebrar a Luna y cumplirle su deseo de bañarse en la playa y partir la piñata jajaja, no hubo amiguitos, pero allí me volví una niña más y me puse con ella a jugar y hasta me metí en la piñata jajaja. Por cierto, no tuvo corazón de caer a palo a la piñata jajaja porque era de su personaje favorito Bluey, entonces el abuelo le hizo un hoyo sin romperla mucho para vaciarla sobre nosotras y atrapar los dulces jaja. Well, as promised, this Sunday we went to the beach to celebrate Luna and fulfill her wish to swim in the beach and break the piñata hahaha, there were no friends, but there I became another little girl and I played with her and even got into the piñata hahaha. By the way, she didn't have the heart to fall into the piñata hahaha because it was of her favorite character Bluey, so grandpa made a hole in it without breaking it too much to empty it on us and catch the candy hahaha. La pasamos muy bien a pesar de que no pudieron ir sus padrinos y mi pareja porque le salió trabajo también ese día, pero bueno igual jugamos mucho, cumplió su ilusión de tener piñata y estar con sus abuelos, ya podía ver esa carita de felicidad que tanto deseaba ver, aprovechamos de tomar algunas fotitos y adjunto otro video de lo que hicimos en la playa, otro añito más para mi princesa valiente, les juro que aún no asimilo que ya tiene 7 años, el tiempo siempre pasando veloz sin darnos cuenta, mi bebé chiquita es una niña extrovertida, con mucha energía, siempre sonriendo, la amo demasiado, le deseo salud y que siga conociéndose y explorando lo que le apasiona, que viva y brille con fuerza. Espero tengan una excelente semana, les deseo lo mejor, gracias por haber llegado hasta el final.
