Columna Semanal de la Abuelita
Saludos a todos los padres de #Motherhood, que visitan la columna ¡Auxilio, abuelita!… Está casi por finalizar el año escolar, y es por esto que trataré el tema del derecho de los niños a la educación.

¡Auxilio, abuelita!… ¡Por fin!, termina el año escolar…A correr…
Como es sabido por los usuarios del mundo virtual y real, los niños y adolescentes tienen derecho al estudio. Los adultos responsables de ellos, deben darle la oportunidad de que tengan una buena educación en el hogar y acceso a la educación formal. También es necesario que los guíen y lleven de la mano junto a los docentes y los centros educativos para que ellos puedan incorporarse sin traumas. Un lápiz y un cuaderno pueden hacer la diferencia y abrir oportunidades a sus hijos.
Es por esta razón, que todos juntos, deben unirse por un bien común, y una misma misión, la de educar y guiar a los niños en su camino por las aulas de clases, pues ellos son el futuro de la sociedad. Es por ello, que hay hacer hincapié en este derecho fundamental. Sobre este tema, la página Guiainfantil.com publico un articulo redactado por Laura Vélez, el día 26 de septiembre de 2017, titulo : “Derecho de los niños a la educación”, donde indica lo siguiente:
”La educación no consiste únicamente en aprender a leer y escribir, sino que constituye la base del desarrollo personal. Para que el engranaje de una sociedad funcione, sus miembros tienen que tener una educación básica que les permita desarrollarse como individuos para poder convivir en sociedad. Palabra clave: “convivencia”, necesaria para que los niños en sus inicios puedan desarrollar sus talentos y habilidades. También, desarrollar su creatividad y aprender a tomar decisiones asertivas. Es por esta razón, que hay que darle al niño facilidades para que se incorporen a las escuelas a iniciar su educación formal. En muchos países del mundo está por terminar el año escolar, el finiquito de todo un año de actividades y de proyectos.
Cuando llegan estos días, algunos padres y representantes se pueden volver locos, si no están preparados para ellos. Los que son planificados y están pendientes de la educación de sus hijos no tendrán ningún problema. Sí, por el contrario, es el tipo de padre paracaídas, que aparece al final sin saber cómo va su hijo; será un total caos. Sin haber pisado los centros educativos en todo el año, ni siquiera asistieron a las reuniones. Solo imponen y boicotean el trabajo de un año.
A estas fechas exigen notas y trabajitos extras para que sus hijos pasen el año escolar. A estos padres les recuerdo la responsabilidad que tienen con sus hijos y a la sociedad, porque ellos son el futuro del mundo. Al otro, grupo que está pendiente de sus hijos, van mis felicitaciones. Sé que estos días son de corre y corre, con todas las actividades y sobre todo la parte monetaria. Pero vale la pena, el esfuerzo y trasnocharse para cumplir con las actividades.
Todas las publicaciones de los proyectos y actividades de lapso que han traído las Madres a esta linda comunidad, donde la creatividad de los niños, padres y docentes han quedado plasmadas en lindas presentaciones. A todos ellos, sobre todo a los niños de #Motherhood, mis nietecitos, van mis felicitaciones. Disfruten de sus merecidas vacaciones. Sigan estudiando y portándose muy bien.

Abracen muchos a sus hijos para que se sientan seguros de sí mismos. En cuanto a este cierre del año escolar, espero que estén preparados. Como dicen por ahí: “después de tanto nadar no se vayan a ahogar en la orilla". Les dejo estos consejitos:
• Asista a las reuniones, actividades que planifique los centros educativos.
• No sea tan exigente con las notas, ustedes no eran perfectos.
• Planifique actividades para las vacaciones escolares, tales como caminata al aire libre, práctica de deportes, ir al cine y a museos.
• Regálele un libro de lectura.
• Agasajarlos por todo el trabajo y esfuerzo durante el año escolar.

Algunas personas desprecian el lápiz y el cuaderno, pero se equivocan, porque es el principio del aprendizaje y el conocimiento. Leer y escribir es la base del ser humano. Recuerda que sólo la educación y el conocimiento dan libertad al hombre para que no se deje influir ni manipular. También el ejemplo dará a tus hijos los valores éticos y morales necesarios para ser humildes y valorar a las personas y no guiarse por las apariencias.
