A causa de la nueva fractura de Lucia su pediatra nos remitió con varios especialistas para estudiar a fondo la fragilidad de los huesitos de la pequeña, así que iniciamos con la nefrologo pediatra quien revisara el funcionamiento de los riñones y además la absorción de los minerales y calcio que son los encargados de que los huesos estén sanos y fuertes, la consulta fue bastante completa, una revisión general y también con un eco renal, le indicaron varios exámenes y pruebas especiales por lo que hoy comparto un poco de esta experiencia con todos ustedes!
Hi Motherhood Community 💫 Because of Lucia's new fracture her pediatrician referred us to several specialists to study in depth the fragility of the little girl's bones, so we started with the pediatric nephrologist who checked the functioning of the kidneys and also the absorption of minerals and calcium that are responsible for the bones to be healthy and strong, the consultation was quite complete, a general review and also with a renal echo, she was indicated several tests and special tests so today I share a little of this experience with all of you!
La doctora que nos recomendaron atiende por citas programadas en el primer piso del centro clínico Virgen del Valle, específicamente en la avenida Santa Rosa de la ciudad de Cumaná-Venezuela 🇻🇪, así que un poco antes de la hora pautada nos fuimos al consultorio y esperamos en unas sillas nuestro turno, Lucia estaba entretenida con unos mini Stich que llevo para jugar y también tomandonos algunas fotografías para hacer tiempo.
The doctor recommended to us attends by scheduled appointments on the second floor of the Virgen del Valle clinic, specifically on Santa Rosa Avenue in the city of Cumana-Venezuela 🇻🇪, so a little before the scheduled time we went to the office and waited in some chairs for our turn, Lucia was entertained with some mini Stich I took to play and also taking some pictures to make time.
Entramos al consultorio y realmente me encanto la tranquilidad que se sentía, es un ambiente muy agradable con muchos juguetes, un área de ecografía y otra con un escritorio para la interacción con los pacientes. Lucia de inmediato se puso a jugar mientras yo conversaba con la doctora las causas por las cuales nos remitieron con ella, empezó a abrir y llenar la historia de Lucia y posteriormente empezó la revisión física de la niña.
We entered the office and I really loved the tranquility that was felt, it is a very pleasant environment with lots of toys, an ultrasound area and another area with a desk for interaction with patients. Lucia immediately started to play while I talked to the doctor about the reasons why we were referred to her, she began to open and fill out Lucia's history and then began the physical examination of the girl.
Empezó pesando y midiendo a Lucia, luego le pregunto cómo se había caído, como era su alimentación, reviso absolutamente todo su cuerpo, le pregunto hábitos de tomar el sol, el entorno donde estudia, dónde vive y muchas cosas que ella considero importantes para la historia médica. Seguidamente empezó a realizar la ecografía renal, gracias a Dios los riñones están físicamente sanos y normales de acorde a la edad, sin embargo hay que estudiar su funcionamiento a través de varias pruebas de sangre y orina que la doctora le indicó a Lucia para poder diagnosticar e identificar como está Lucia en el área de nefrología, finalmente nos remitió con un ortopedista para que revise a fondo las fracturas de Lucia y que debemos contactar pues no está en la ciudad pero cada mes viene a realizar consultas médicas, así que debemos pautar una cita.
She began by weighing and measuring Lucia, then she asked her how she had fallen, how she was eating, she checked absolutely everything about her body, she asked her about her sunbathing habits, the environment where she studies, where she lives and many things that she considered important for the medical history. Then she began to perform the renal ultrasound, thank God the kidneys are physically healthy and normal according to age, however we must study its operation through various blood and urine tests that the doctor told Lucia to diagnose and identify how Lucia is in the area of nephrology, finally she referred us to an orthopedist to thoroughly review Lucia's fractures and that we should contact because he is not in the city but every month he comes to make medical consultations, so we must schedule an appointment.
Ya realizamos las pruebas de laboratorio a Lucia y ahora estamos a la espera de los resultados para que sean evaluados por la nefrologa, sinceramente es una situación muy difícil tanto para nosotros como padres como para mi hija que ha pasado por muchas cosas médicas a tan corta edad, sin embargo confiamos en Dios que pronto sabremos que ocurre con Lucia y podremos iniciar un tratamiento que nos de tranquilidad y a ella la salud que necesita, confío en que saldremos de esto victoriosos de esta situación y que mi bebé volverá a su vida normal con sus amigos, colegio, sin miedo a caer y fracturar ningún huesito, por ahora me toca despedirme y en lo que te vamos novedades y avances de la salud de Lucia se las comentaré por este medio, como siempre fue un placer compatir nuestras experiencias con ustedes! 💞 Gracias por leerme! 😃 Hasta muy pronto! 💫
