Lleg贸 la temporada de lluvias y con ellas las afecciones respiratorias, lamentablemente a Lucia estos cambios clim谩ticos la afectan much铆simo y bueno nos toc贸 ir a consulta m茅dica para atender una gripe repentina bastante fuerte que result贸 ser rinofaringitis, por suerte ya est谩 con tratamiento m茅dico as铆 que hoy les comparto esta experiencia!
Hi Motherhood Community 馃挮 The rainy season has arrived and with it the respiratory ailments, unfortunately these weather changes affect Lucia a lot and well we had to go to the doctor to attend a sudden flu quite strong that turned out to be rhinopharyngitis, luckily she is already under medical treatment so today I share this experience with you!
Hace unos d铆as en Cuman谩 comenz贸 la temporada de lluvias y justo con ellas a Lucia le empez贸 una febricula bastante at铆pica, la temperatura sub铆a no m谩s de 38 grados, ella solo manifestaba dolor de garganta y estaba sin 谩nimos, no ten铆a s铆ntomas de tos ni goteo nasal pero la fiebre estuvo por 2 noches seguidas as铆 que decid铆 llevarla a consulta con su pediatra para que le hiciera una revisi贸n completa.
A few days ago in Cumana began the rainy season and just with them Lucia started a quite atypical fever, the temperature rose no more than 38 degrees, she only had a sore throat and was in no mood, she had no symptoms of cough or runny nose but the fever was for 2 nights in a row so I decided to take her to see her pediatrician for a complete review.
La pediatra empez贸 con la revisi贸n, la midi贸 y peso y comenz贸 a preguntarle que sent铆a, Lucia contestaba todas las preguntas y le explic贸 que tenia dolor al comer en la garganta y que hab铆a tenido fiebre, tambi茅n le dijo que yo le hab铆a dado medicina para la fiebre y miel jajaja me sorprendi贸 que le diera todos los detalles a la pediatra.
The pediatrician started with the check up, she measured and weighed her and started asking her how she felt, Lucia answered all the questions and explained that she had pain when eating in her throat and that she had a fever, she also told her that I had given her medicine for the fever and honey hahaha I was surprised that she gave all the details to the pediatrician.
Luego la pediatra empez贸 la revisi贸n de los pulmones y respiraci贸n, tambi茅n de su garganta y o铆dos, finalmente al ella revisar nos dijo que Lucia estaba con la faringe inflamada y que estaba empezando un proceso de rinofaringitis que por su condici贸n de rinitis cr贸nica pod铆a empeorar con el clima, as铆 que le recet贸 varios medicamentos incluyendo esteroides, nebulizaciones y antial茅rgicos, tambi茅n indico reposo pues nos dijo que una vez se iniciara el tratamiento su faringe empezar铆a a desinflamar y a generar flema y posiblemente fluidos nasales, salimos de la cl铆nica directo a la farmacia a comprar todo lo necesario para iniciar con su recuperaci贸n.
Then the pediatrician began to check her lungs and breathing, also her throat and ears, finally she told us that Lucia's pharynx was inflamed and that she was starting a process of rhinopharyngitis that due to her chronic rhinitis condition could worsen with the weather, so she prescribed several medications including steroids, nebulizations and anti-allergic drugs, she also indicated rest because she told us that once the treatment was started her pharynx would start to deflate and generate phlegm and possibly nasal fluids, we left the clinic straight to the pharmacy to buy everything necessary to start with her recovery.
Ya Lucia est谩 con su tratamiento y ha mejorado progresivamente, le mandaron tambi茅n unas vitaminas para reforzar el sistema inmune y que le han abierto el apetito as铆 que por lo menos est谩 comiendo bastante y ya con el favor de Dios para la pr贸xima semana podr谩 volver a sus actividades y terminar el reposo de forma satisfactoria, siempre es bueno consultar al m茅dico para estar totalmente seguros de las condiciones de salud de nuestros peque帽os y m谩s cuando sabemos que estos cambios clim谩ticos los pueden afectar, por ahora seguimos en casa en recuperaci贸n y como siempre fue un placer compatir nuestras experiencias con ustedes! 馃挒 Gracias por leerme! 馃槂 Hasta muy pronto! 馃挮
Lucia is already with her treatment and has improved progressively, they also sent her some vitamins to strengthen the immune system and that have opened her appetite so at least she is eating enough and already with God's favor for next week she can return to her activities and finish the rest satisfactorily, it is always good to consult the doctor to be totally sure of the health conditions of our little ones and more when we know that these climatic changes can affect them, for now we are still at home in recovery and as always it was a pleasure to share our experiences with you! 馃挒 Thank you for reading me! 馃槂 See you very soon! 馃挮
