It's that time of the year when different organizations come together for fun activities. The party is a good start to the Christmas feeling. Yesterday my kid's school had their Christmas party and I was wowed by how talented the kids were through the way they handle some musical instruments, the drama in explanations of the story behind the birth of Jesus, the presentation of the amazing songs, and some recitations from other kids.
My kids with Santaπ
It was a fun-packed day with something that looked like a real Santa Claus by the sideππ. I was hearing Christmas songs of all kinds from the kids, in fact...they made my day through their amazing presentations.
My second son with his classmates presenting a song titled "baby Jesus"
I must commend their school for such an event, what I saw shows that they put so much energy into nurturing this kid both academically and socially. At first, when the school sent bills for extracurricular activities, I was like, this is too much for just a term but seeing the positive effects of all those activities on the kids made me think of the money we paid is lesser even. lolz. Look at this set of students with musical instruments π
When I first hear them play, I was searching for adults who were controlling the instrument πΈπ· only for me to find out that, the kids did... imagine having this talent at this age...so amazing π
The ballerinas were not let out. Both older and younger kids were showcasing their awesome talents over there.
Some sets of students who acted in drama in the story about the birth of Jesus made it look so real. They put life onto the acting...they expressed themselves so well to the point that I believed, most of them can work well in the movie industryπ
Behold the ones that acted as the 3 wise men ππ
There were lots of fun activities for the kids and parents as well π. When it was the turn for parents, I couldn't help but hide for my dear life π. The game was tricky in the sense that you wouldn't know what the M.C. will ask you to do until you pick a wrapped written note and read the content. So the first parent that picked the written note was asked to get her kids and dance with them on the stage π€ π
Another parent was made to be partially blind and then she was presented with other kids, my son included, and her son as well. The idea was for her to identify her son by feeling his skin only without vision.... lolz, well, she passed the test π...it was all fun π
There were amazing kids with amazing dancing steps ππ. Kids of different age groups danced as well but I was able to capture this set of dancers.
Personally, I had a great time watching how the kids were performing. The food, snacks, and drinks presented to us parents were so nice that I didn't want the party to end any time soon.. lolz
My humble self
My baby was crying all through at the sight of Santa π ... maybe he sees him as a masquerade or something
Even with the little Santa, he was so scared and didn't want to go anywhere close to the characters π
He was later calm but not really excited though...all join, for the fun of the outing
The fun continued with the kids even after the main event and most of them couldn't resist not playing with the bouncing castle including my boys.
Here is my niece who stays with me, she sure enjoyed herself as well π
To make the kids happy, the school presented each of the students with a gift π. This has been their tradition at every end of the term. Amazing gift as at that, the other time, it was quality bedsheets and a customized pillow, and this time around, they took their measurements and sewed a native jacket π§₯ for them...I liked it and the kids do.
It was a delightful moment yesterday, Wow... Kids of this era are just amazing, Hahaha. The Christmas celebration πππ has been already...Lol... The weekend is really buzzing for the kids and I.
That will be all for now π
I wish everyone joy as you celebrate the season from the part of your world ππ
