Hola mis queridos lectores de la comunidad de padres, el día de hoy les vengo a contar un poco sobre las enfermedades que dan en los colegios y el cuidado que debemos tener, en este caso muy específico vengo hablar de la varicela o conocida como en mi país como "lechina", esta es una enfermedad común, existe la vacuna y en mi país es gratuita, pero a veces no nos da chance a colocarle las dos dosis que la previenen, en este caso mi bebe tiene tan solo dos añitos y la siguiente dosis le toca de 4 años.

Cuando somos padres muchas veces tenemos que decidir entre cuidar a nuestros hijos o continuar una vida normal con respecto al colegio, en el caso de los padres trabajadores no hay muchas opciones cuando los niños dependen de mama y papá, pues terminan en guarderías desde muy pequeños como es nuestro caso, Alissandra tiene tan solo dos años y medio, pero me toco decidir entre continuar mi trabajo o dedicarme al cuidado de ella por completo, decidimos probar con una guardería y la primera semana fue duro verla llorar y sufrir hasta que llegaba la hora de la salida nos parecía mucho tiempo, yo sufría porque le doy pecho aun y me daba dolor saber que no comería hasta verme, luego se partió la boca en un tobogán y para terminar la historia hubo una reunión de representantes para decir que las clases en la guardería estaban suspendidas, media sala maternal tiene varicela, Alissandra tuvo una semana sin ir porque le dio fiebre en dos oportunidades y yo para evitar que contagiará a alguien más no la envíe.

When we are parents many times we have to decide between taking care of our children or continue a normal life with respect to school, in the case of working parents there are not many options when the children depend on mom and dad, because they end up in daycare from very young as in our case, Alissandra is only two and a half years old, but I had to decide between continuing my work or devote myself to taking care of her completely, We decided to try a daycare and the first week it was hard to see her cry and suffer until it was time to leave, I suffered because I still breastfeed her and it hurt me to know that she would not eat until she saw me, then she broke her mouth on a slide and to finish the story there was a meeting of representatives to say that classes at the daycare were suspended, half the nursery has chickenpox, Alissandra had a week without going because she had fever twice and I did not send her to avoid infecting someone else.

Resulta que al parecer estaba contagiada, les cuento que al principio me sentí indignada, pero entendí que esto es un proceso por el que tenemos que pasar, cuando recién cumplió los dos años escuche del brote escolar, pero jamás imaginé que llegaría tan rápido, la varicela es una enfermedad que es fácil de notar, pues su característica principal es una especie de sarpullido en la piel que luego se convierte en ampolla, como una vejiga con agua y un poco roja, dependiendo de la fase en la que se encuentre.

En mi opinión y por la información recolectada de mi mejor fuente, mi mamá y mi abuela, los baños deben ser muy cortos, incluso si son pequeños, mucho más rápidos y con jabones neutros, el problema no es bañarlo, es no provocarle lesiones porque al romperse las ampollas, ya que la infección se expande más rápido, además de ablandar las pelotas, luego la ropa debería ser holgada y de algodón preferiblemente estar en un lugar con mucho frío para evitar el picor en exceso, entre más fresco este el niño mucho mejor, para evitar la comezón pienso que depende mucho de la paciencia de la persona a mí me dio siendo adulta, fue terrible, pero me aguantaba la picazón, use mucha crema, mi hermana se arrancaba las costras y aún tiene marcas y mi papá sufrió mucho más.
