What's that?
A few days ago, I was looking out of the window and saw something that caught my curiosity.. Whenever that happens but I can't quite see it clearly, I grab my camera and use the zoom to check it out. I've managed to read what's on ships far out of the coast several times but never managed to zoom in finding out what I was curious about in the sky.
Usually, I try to find out which big birds of prey are flying around but they are mostly out of sight as soon as I have the camera or I just get lost with the zoom and be too late finding out because of looking at the wrong place, lol.
A balloon!
This time it was clear immediately that it was a balloon we were looking at,thanks to the rope at the bottom. Now I was curious to see what was on the balloon so I waited a litle bit until it turned a bit and then read the text.
Hello World!
Although this one isn't as sharp as it could have been, as I found out later, I had to giggle a little bit when I read the text on this balloon.
"Hello World!" It made me think about the Wordpress templates at first and then I thought about the little boy that we will welcome into this world in a few months time.
Time seems to fly by fast now that more and more items that we bought arrive at our home day by day. Yesterday I had a quick check up at a local smaller clinic as per request by my regular gyneacologist because he said it's best in case anything happens with the blood pressure that things get noticed sooner than later. I think it's fine as the clinic is just 5 mins away and this way I can at least raise any concerns, if there are any.
Baby is very active
The past week the baby has been so active that some moments I get a shock from the kicks and pushes he gives me. It wasn't a surprise to me that two days ago my boyfriend put his hand on my belly and got a kick and jumped up from shock because he didn't expect to feel that yet. Neither did I expect it because usually it takes a bit longer for the partners to be able to feel it from the outside. It was funny though.
Car seat arrived from China
All the way from China, our Isofix baby car seat arrived yesterday and it looks much better than I could have hoped, there is one little flaw in the sunscreen part but I think it can be fixed, the rest of the chair looks amazing. Funny thing is, it came with a huge (torn) box and MANY Chinese stamps!
The light could have been better but we're first going to check later if it really fits the car, we did our research but hey, you never know! I'm surprised by the detailed stitching of the car seat and how smooth it works and how decent everything fits together. Very happy with this one.
The stamps in the picture are just half of the stamps btw, we found it a bit odd to send such a valuable item with regular stamps, I may remove them after we installed the car seat in a few months. Just for fun, haha.
Smiley baby?
My daughter and I had a good laugh when the doctor made the ultrasound and this popped up:
Do you see the smiley face in there too? We did! It's not the baby's face though, we didn't get a profile picture this time, this was the adbomen part apparently. She said many people think of a face when they see it, I don't recall ever noticiing this before.
I asked for a print of this part for dad because he was working and it was just me and the girl, who also spoiled the name to the doctor, which was supposed to be a secret, lol. Oh well..
All pictures above are mine..
