Being a mom has taught me that true happiness lives in the little things — in sticky fingers from melting ice cream, in the sound of laughter echoing under the trees, in his tiny feet running freely without a care in the world.
Today wasn’t about schedules or to-do lists. It was about being present. About sitting on the grass, letting the sun kiss our skin, and letting the world slow down just enough to breathe him in. Every giggle, every curious question, every look he gives me — it all feels like magic I don’t ever want to forget.
Sometimes, in the middle of a simple afternoon, I realize how quickly time is flying. The baby I once held is now this brave little explorer, chasing butterflies and making up stories as he plays. And while part of me aches to freeze this moment, another part feels deeply grateful — because I get to be here, witnessing every little piece of who he’s becoming.
Thank you, my son, for reminding me of what truly matters.
Not perfection. Not plans. Just love. Just presence. Just us. 🌈👣💫
