That's the question I been asking myself ever since I posted my last HPUD Guessing Contest. I truly thought I had hosted a difficult challenge because it was new to me. Who would have thought there would be toilets in castles in the 17th century? Turns out many had thought and knew about it, and seems like I'm the odd one out 😖 😝
Many of you guessed correctly, and @joanstewart even knew the exact location!! It's a medieval castle called Clifford Tower in York, a fascinating little place that I shall post later on.
Congrats to the winners highlighted in bold below, and please find your special HPUD Guessing Contest badge for the month. The 15 HBD will be split between the 18 winners and I will double up the prize for 12 of you as you also HPUD during the month.

Forgive if I am wrong but is that not the abbatoir that @albuslucimus slaughters the unicorns in? Rumour has it that his fluting sounded like an elk bugling until he started to dine on the flesh of the magical creatures.
And as a special reward for everyone to took part, I will show you a tour of loos found during my week away in the North East of England a while ago. I know you all secretly love a Loo Tour 😄
Loo of the year Awards
I am not kidding and can prove that this award really does exist. Just look at the menu below! This is from a fish n chips restaurant in Whitby, and they won UK's Best Fish & Chips Restaurant in 2020. The food is very nice here, and of course I had to check out their loos to see if the award is an all rounded one covering every aspect of the restaurant.
The decor was a bit dated, not the tacky dated, kinda unusual and quite un-English. Overall I'd say they are nice and clean and didn't feel functional, like its only purpose was for one to drop their business. I mean I had no intention of hanging around inside for longer than needed, but I also didn't feel like I had to rush out immediately because it was so grotty inside.
Falling Foss
I haven't done a walk in UK for a long time. When I was searching for walks in Scarborough, I found a place called Falling Foss, and it had a lovely cafe in the middle of a woodland. I'll be posting about this as it's a very interesting short walk with lots to see. We stopped by the cafe for lunch, and I just love their loos. The cafe is surrounded by woodland and the loos have a window that looks out into the forest, it feels so ... natural 😄
Spark York
After we left Clifford Tower, in the evening we went to a place called Spark for dinner and drinks. This is an outdoor coummunity space run as social enterprise to support small businesses and start ups. It's built up of cargo containers with lots of cool art around. The loos are located inside one of the containers. There was a constant queue outside because they are multi sex loos so sadly I couldn't take a photo, But you get the idea of the vibe.
Gloucester Service station
A while ago I posted about an eco service station on the motorway here. That was the last stop of my week away. And of course I had to check out their loos. Not that I was expecting a drop in the ground to go with eco theme, but I was a tad disappointed to find the toilet decor to be very ordinary and functional. Not even a plant in sight. Too bad.
I hope you enjoyed the Loo Tour, and if you have any interesting loo content (no bad taste vulgar shit post) please do share in the Loo Loo Community here! Till next HPUD Guessing Game post, bye!!!!
