The prolonged dry season continues in Aceh today. I passed the rice fields and saw what was happening, the fields were dry because they had not rained for a long time, while the water supply from the irrigation channel was very limited.
Yesterday, I took the time to take an afternoon walk through the rice fields to the forest to find a photography spot. It never occurred to me that I would find mushrooms. Yes, in the dry season - except for Ganoderma or bracket types - mushrooms are hard to grow.
But I was lucky enough, on the way I found mushrooms in large sizes. They were golden yellow, rusted like rust on metal, and they looked like delicious toast. When I held them, it felt like I was holding Styrofoam.
I don't know what kind of mushroom it is, its common name, or its scientific name. I've searched for a mushroom similar to it through the Yandex search engine, but I didn't find any similar to it. So, I'll just call them big golden mushrooms.
In another place, on my way home, I also saw a fungus growing on a dead coconut trunk. They are also large in size, so I can see them from afar while riding my motorbike. From its milky white shape and color, I can tell them are bracket mushrooms or Polypore type.
Well, that's a little my adventure story with mushrooms on Sundays, as well as my contribution to the Fungi Lovers Community.
