Coprinus comatus
Sometimes I have a feeling that those mushrooms can fade and turn into a black goo so fast, I have to hurry with taking photos. And it is better to do it as soon as I find them. Don't leave it for later. They might not be there anymore.
It might be of course a slight exaggeration, but knowing that they do have only few hours of life in the daylight, I do prefer to shoot fast.
I found those in a huge lawn in a countryside. A place where some old cork oaks, olive trees and eucalyptuses grow. Patches of open space is enough for a good light too. Tall grass that is probably never mowed my humans (pigs and sheep do the job) and some bushes here and there. Perfect for mushroom and bugs hunting :)
Here is a cool video I found on youtube of them growing and then fading.
