Good afternoon to all my mushroom hobbyist friends, wherever you are, all of you who are in the #FungiLovers community. On this occasion I will show the mushrooms that I found in the highlands of Gayo land, the distance I traveled was 3 hours driving and 1 hour 20 minutes by foot until I reached the valley where the mushrooms are located.
Here I did a long journey so that I could get mushrooms that were different from what I usually find in my area, this tiring journey paid off and I found several types of mushrooms that are so many. But because it's in a lush area and there are big trees, therefore, the tools are minimal, so many photos of mushrooms are lacking in light. And you can see the results in this post.
This first mushroom is a mushroom that I found on a large tree trunk, this mushroom is yellow to brown in color and has the size of 4 human hands, a super large mushroom and the first largest mushroom I found since a year ago I love and look for mushrooms in the forest. This mushroom is very similar to the Laetiporus Sulphureus mushroom, which you can all see in the following photo.
In my area, this fungus is usually called a mushroom or Tyrant mushroom and this fungus is still a relative of the Pleurotus eryngii mushroom, this fungus is the most numerous and has hundreds of fungi that live on tree trunks, because the area is humid and cold, so this fungus lives fresh and spreads in the former big tree that fell and began to rot.
Beautiful motifs and colors coupled with parallel growth that makes this mushroom look beautiful, this mushroom known as Microporus has a strong resistance, its hard shape and texture makes this mushroom look sturdy when growing on a wooden trunk that has bright sunlight enough.
This mushroom looks unique and has grooves that are similar to oysters or turkey tails. This mushroom is a genus of Stereum, this fungus is a fungus that has a strong resistance and looks thick, grows in groups on rotting and rotting wood stems.
In this mushroom I don't know what genus this mushroom belongs to, judging from its shape, this mushroom is similar to lingzhi mushroom which from its shape and color is correct or not this mushroom belongs to the lingzhi mushroom family, maybe all of my friends can give me input about the mushrooms?
Mushrooms that have a gray and brown color with a slightly oval shape and grow parallel and neat on the trunk, this fungus is named Fomes Fementarius which is widely spread on several continents, including the continent of Asia and this fungus is very much found in my area.
Mushrooms that have a pure white color and grow so beautifully grow on tree branches. This mushroom is very thin and easily destroyed when touched or exposed to excessive sunlight, this fungus is called Delicatula.
This pure white mushroom is an Oyster mushroom that looks fresh and clean, this mushroom that has just grown and looks neatly arranged is very beautiful when it is in its infancy before becoming big.
This tiring journey takes more than 4 hours by motorbike and on foot. This is paid off by finding beautiful mushrooms that I can show to all my friends in this community and if the photos above may look bad because a lot of them I took it using my smartphone camera with very minimal light due to dense forest conditions and deep valleys. Hopefully there are friends who can give me advice and other knowledge so that they can increase my knowledge about mushrooms that are widely spread throughout the world.
