Success is everyone's dream both young and old, there is this desire to be successful in human. But personally, I discovered that a greater number of humans fail to achieve success in their given pursuit and this aroused my interest in studying why this reality is so. Let me tell you a little about my journey here on Hive story.

My Hive Journey
I joined Hive over a year ago and the enthusiasm and spirit was high, I feel I was in for something great and shortly my device got bad and I became discouraged. After I got a working device, I forgot about the Hive platform for a very long time, but recently about two months to be precise I returned to Hive and discovered the great things I have missed all the while I have been away, the wonderful and educative posts, as well as the beauty of interacting with users and sharing ideas from around the world. Just then I realized and was reassured that CONSISTENCY is key to success in every field. Since I started Hive again there have been some discouraging circumstances. Like having to deal with power issues in my home country where the national Grid broke down, also with having to deal with my laptop battery that got bad as a result of using Inverters to charge. But you can guess right, I couldn’t be discouraged because I now know the place of consistency
Be consistent!
Consistency requires that one commits himself or herself to a sustained effort of action over a long-term. There are two kinds of courage needed to succeed in any endeavour.
- The courage to begin
Every winner started, we cannot win if we don’t begin, but beginning is not so hard, with a little motivation we start a new project, decide to learn a new skill etc. we feel motivated and put in our best. But eventually majority will lack the courage to continue. - The courage to continue (stay power)
Most entrepreneurs started well and had a desire to succeed but they couldn’t persevere. The stay power is what is needed to succeed. Consistency is actually hard! Each day determines the results we’ll get in the future.
I lost the stay power when I was doing my daily exercise. I started very well and was very happy. But shortly I couldn’t continue. This is the same thing we experience in other fields of Endeavor.

Consistency requires building of habits everyday that keeps one focused on their goals, it also entails being focused on the present tasks while maintaining a long-term goal in view. There should be no room for excuses. If it’s going to be then it’s up to you.
One way not to get discouraged is, don’t expect instant or immediate result, once you are making progress overtime don’t give up! Continue.
