Heal the world !
Often times we think of help as a very big deal, That we must have enough before we give That we must be satisfied before we gift.
All no !. A big one to that.
Have you ever in your life helped someone out from your own nothingness ?? How good does it feel ?
Here I want us to reflect on this few words as we go along this week.
We must not be rich, wealthy, satisfied or comfortable for us to offer a helping hand.
The universe revolves in a circular orbit, definitely everyone of us will one day or the other need a helping hand to live, so never underestimate the power of help in our lives.
Karma they say, treats everyone equally, the good you do to someone who needs it today will definitely come back to you when you need one.
Just don't do good for attention, do it with intentions, sometimes attach a prayer to it and see how the universe will lift your own burden while you lift other people's own.
So one of the underestimated ironies of helping the needy is the fact that you are indirectly helping your self.
Don't feel bad for not being dully appreciated after helping someone, feel good for at least you know you've lifted a load of burden off the person.
So as you go out this week, never hesitate to help as much as possible.
It can be with money, your advice alone, the love and care you showed to someone, how you treat people along your way, Gift to other your less needful stuffs, it can be; food, clothes, gadgets etc.
Take your time visit the orphanage homes, don't ignore the beggers in the street, In your neighborhood, the children you can admonish, don't look down on the little things that matters.
We're in this mess as a generation because many people has left the place of help in the lives. Many preach hate as a social lifestyle, You see people preaching retaliation over forgiveness, public show of foolishness over admonition etc.
There's more to life when we help each other. It brings unity, strengthens love and bond in our society, reduce social vices and enhance peaceful coexistence in general.
In summary!!
It heals the world :
When you become the eye of the blind man in the society, When you are the voice of the dumb and the voiceless When you help the lame to walk or become their legs
When we feed the hungry man, When we quench the thirsting with even the little drop of water we can offer.
Believe me there will be no blindness in our society, there will be no hunger or thirst, the lame will walk and the dumb will speak, when we recognize and uphold the power in helping each other.
