“Never surrender to the momentum of mediocrity.” – Marlon Brando

Have you ever dreamed of something wherein it feels so near toward achieving yet so far from actually having it because of the absence of knowing what to do? It's not wrong to be content with a mediocre life, but if you have a pang of hunger to have an extraordinary life, why settle for it? We know nothing about what lies beyond the future, but it's never wrong to take a risk because that's how life is. Sometimes you have to push yourself for you to achieve your full potential.
Don't make it a habit to sell yourself short.
When others say that you cannot go beyond where you are situated, keep in mind that we can decide who we want to be, including self-exploration and self-discovery that aims to determine our capacities, talents, purposes, and desires. And if it would take you away from other people, especially those that continue to bring us down, just think that it's for your own greater good.

While it's good to start taking a step ahead at such a young age, it doesn't mean that those who haven't come out yet from their own shells can't catch up. We have this term called "late bloomers." Probably, your time to shine will yet to come. Still, don't settle for less.
By the way, have you heard about the term "chakra"? It is believed to provide sheer energy that boosts your body's systems and your brain's cognitive abilities. Once it gets activated and things work the way you envisioned them to be, just continue heading in the right direction but never ever forget to always keep your feet on the ground.
Do not fear taking risks and challenges.
Reality, as they say, is not necessarily kinder than our imaginations. But being optimistic and idealistic rather than realistic does not of itself make you absolutely mediocre or even excellent. But anyway, the same challenges you are avoiding can be the ones you need that will help you grow into your full potential. It may be frightening, but it can be the best opportunity for progress.
It's not a race you need to win. It doesn't matter how old you are or how hard life has been on you up to this point; there is so much more that you can do than what you've done so far.

After all, life is a continuous process. Part of it is the change that is inevitable. Life is just short as well, so live it to the fullest. We may not know what the future brings, but if there is something we can do, that is to unleash our full potential by stopping ourselves from settling for less than we know we deserve.
Indeed, it is of great significance to somehow break free from our default setting at some point in time. But also learn that thinking of it is not just enough. We have to partner it also with viable actions. Remember that, as humans, it is part of our nature to strive for something better. Risks may be associated with it, but it could made us even stronger and wiser. So get up, and bring more colors to life.
