SELF CARE: IS IT SELFISH?
We hear about the art of self care & the importance of it everywhere we go. In today's stressful way of life, the term actually became a buzz word. It is something a lot of seek & we tend to think of a luxurious spa day or that indulgent meal to nourish ourselves.
While nothing is wrong with those things (& sometimes are needed!), self care goes a lot deeper than that. It is about replenishing & nuturing your physical, mental & spiritual health; being able to be the best version of yourself...
So, why is it that we feel selfish when we attempt to do this very thing? Society and all of its conditioning has a huge role in it, unfortunately, & some of us can't seem to get out of that mindset...
In this video, I share some insight on this very topic and start "debunking the myth" as we look at it in a different light...
