This will be a bit of a different review than usual. While I've decided to cover it here as part of its anime, there's a lot that I would discuss from my experience with the manga as well (as it happens to be most of my time spent with One Piece), the aspects shared and things that can be different between the mediums, and how it all started because I went to watch a movie that I wasn't really going to have all the knowledge to enjoy to the maximum...but at the same time it was the giant strawhat that broke the camel's back and pushed me into that world.
...Yes, I said "giant strawhat that broke the camel's back"; even as a silly joke I'm still thinking when we will get an explanation about THAT giant strawhat from the Reverie (or Levely; I definitely prefer calling it Reverie)...and on the note of length, I definitely wrote quite a bit more than expected, so please stay with me on this one 😅
But hey, chances are that if you haven't got that far in One Piece (which I don't blame you, it does take a good while even through reading the manga), or haven't even watched One Piece, then you wouldn't really know about the significance of certain characters and moments and instead are wondering what is that makes people get so hooked to One Piece despite its length.
Well, I'd say that its author, Eichiro Oda, doesn't really stretch the series in length just to make money. He makes it take as long as he needs to have everything properly fleshed out: He might tkae a lot of time with building each step brick by brick, but now as anyone that can jump in the series right now has the advantage of having a lot of it already done, they can climb through this building and be surprised with how impressive it keeps getting thanks to that solid foundation he puts in each step, let alone the people that have been watching/reading since the beginning that have instead seen for years the now almost finalized construction of a giant monument.
(Just take a look at how there's 20 openings for One Piece and that all of them together make for an hour of watchtime, though one of them is identical to the first opening but with a different cover)

Aunque he decidido cubrirlo aquà como parte de su anime, hay muchas cosas que discutirÃa de mi experiencia con el manga también (ya que resulta ser la mayor parte del tiempo que paso con One Piece), los aspectos compartidos y las cosas que pueden ser diferentes entre los medios, y cómo todo empezó porque fui a ver una pelÃcula que realmente no iba a tener todos los conocimientos para disfrutar al máximo... pero al mismo tiempo fue el sombrero de paja gigante que rompió la espalda del camello y me empujó a ese mundo.

Pero bueno, lo más probable es que si no has llegado tan lejos en One Piece (que no te culpo, se necesita un buen tiempo, incluso a través de la lectura del manga), o ni siquiera han visto One Piece, entonces usted no sabe realmente sobre el significado de ciertos personajes y momentos y en su lugar se preguntan qué es lo que hace que la gente se enganche tanto a One Piece a pesar de su longitud.
Bueno, yo dirÃa que su autor, Eichiro Oda, no es que alargue la historia para seguirle sacando dinero. What is One Piece about and why people stick to it
Qué es One Piece y porqué la gente le tiene cariño
What starts as the journey of the young boy that was Monkey D. Luffy after accidentally eating a cursed fruit turning him into a rubber man and wanting to chase the dream of becoming the King of Pirates after the legendary departure of Gol. D Roger and his message about the one and only "One Piece" being hidden somewhere (along with growing up with his brother/father figure Shanks and then having to see him depart to the sea), turns into...many, MANY things. And while it seems simple from a summary standpoint, both looking at everything in the form of a retrospective (as well as realizing this after having read/watched it yourself) is pretty insane.
It begins with Luffy getting to find each one of the people that would form the Strawhats as we know them today during his own misadventures (and dealing with the enemies/villains/situations that involve them, gaining their trust): Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Nico Robin (all of these which would be the ones that were seen before the infamous 4Kids dub, which is where a lot of people probably saw One Piece from at first during their childhood, ended), as well as later on being joined by other new members of the Strawhats as well as unexpected temporary allies and people that have become their friends and fight alongside them (only not formally part of the Strawhats).

Luffy tras comer accidentalmente una fruta maldita que lo convierte en un hombre de goma y querer perseguir el sueño de convertirse en el Rey de los Piratas tras la legendaria partida de Gol. D Roger y su mensaje sobre que el único "One Piece" está escondido en algún lugar (junto con crecer con su hermano/padre figura Shanks y luego tener que verlo partir hacia el mar), se convierte en... muchas, MUCHAS cosas. Y aunque parece sencillo desde un punto de vista resumido, tanto verlo todo en forma de retrospectiva (como darse cuenta de ello después de haberlo leÃdo/visto uno mismo) es bastante demencial.
Comienza con Luffy encontrando a cada una de las personas que formarÃan los Strawhats tal y como los conocemos hoy en dÃa durante sus propias desventuras (y lidiando con los enemigos/villanos/situaciones que los involucran, ganándose su confianza): Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Nico Robin (todos estos que serÃan los que se vieron antes de que terminara el infame doblaje de 4Kids, que es de donde mucha gente probablemente vio One Piece al principio durante su infancia), asà como más tarde se les unirán otros nuevos miembros de los Strawhats asà como inesperados aliados temporales y gente que se ha convertido en sus amigos y luchan junto a ellos (sólo que no formalmente como parte de los Strawhats).
Anyways, as how the first arcs go, it is really about Luffy (and anyone else that he has recruited at that point) fighting back against the threat of the day and gaining another team member due to that, but as while are hints and details seen in these early arcs that would become more important later (or at least make it have more sense as you had seen something about it before) as well as room for exploring character backstories and development in further arcs, it all starts taking a particular direction as they cross the Grand Line and the stakes rise further as big as the power of their enemies and significance in the larger picture get.
While the hook point for every and each one for One Piece can be different (as well as it might feel like a bit of a long trip with Villains of the Day on the first arcs), it was with the Water Seven arc where I got REALLY hooked thanks to the killer story that went there with trying to rescue Nico Robin from the Cipher Pol 9 agents, as well as how some of these powerful characters would finally get to be seen or even shown fighting with the plot of Luffy trying to rescue his brother Ace from Impel Down and culminating in Marineford. Then what happens after the timeskip is practically Luffy carving his own path into his goal of being the King of the Pirates while meeting, fighting or even teaming up with old and new characters while the bigger fish finally start taking notice of him along with other "Supernovas".
De todos modos, como los primeros arcos van, es realmente acerca de Luffy (y cualquier otra persona que ha reclutado en ese momento) luchando contra la amenaza del dÃa y ganar otro miembro del equipo debido a eso, Pero como en estos primeros arcos hay pistas y detalles que serán más importantes más adelante (o al menos tendrán más sentido si se ha visto algo antes), asà como espacio para explorar las historias de los personajes y su desarrollo en arcos posteriores, todo empieza a tomar una dirección concreta cuando cruzan el Grand Line y las apuestas aumentan tanto como el poder de sus enemigos y su importancia en el panorama general.
Aunque el punto de enganche para todos y cada uno de los arcos de One Piece puede ser diferente (asà como puede parecer un viaje un poco largo con Villanos del DÃa en los primeros arcos), fue con el arco de los Siete del Agua donde me enganché REALMENTE gracias a la historia asesina que hubo allà con el intento de rescatar a Nico Robin de los agentes del Cipher Pol 9, asà como cómo algunos de estos poderosos personajes finalmente llegarÃan a ser vistos o incluso mostrados luchando con la trama de Luffy intentando rescatar a su hermano Ace de Impel Down y culminando en Marineford. Lo que sucede después del salto temporal es prácticamente Luffy labrándose su propio camino hacia su objetivo de ser el Rey de los Piratas mientras conoce, lucha o incluso forma equipo con viejos y nuevos personajes mientras los peces gordos empiezan por fin a fijarse en él junto con otros "Supernovas".
And that's probably what makes One Piece special in its length: While there is a meme in the community (and people outside of it about) "Oda foreshadowing everything", it is clear that, at the very minimum, knew how to plan ahead certain key points that he would make the best use of many years down the line, and as such, mean that there's a clear build-up and pay-off for when these key points and mysteries shown many moons ago finally are front and center, like Nico Robin's reason for being chased by everybody, the "map" to reach the One Piece, the involvement of these Supernovas we had seen pre-timeskip in the story, learning more about Gol D. Roger and his crew, and most noticeably, those moments when crucial developments and backstories from the main cast happen to be unveiled either a few arcs down the line or way later than expected (You know what I mean with this, Sanji).

But now you might be thinking: "Is there more to One Piece other than having foreshadowing in your foreshadowing though?"
Well, of course there is, otherwise it wouldn't be known as much as it is today. For a lot of moments, the fights aren't as straightforward as you think and the cast have to figure creative ways to defeat their opponents, as it was with the early days of Luffy using techniques with his rubber body for attacks, less-powered characters like Usopp, Nami and Chopper having to manage with whatever they can do against far more physically powerful enemies, and sometimes Luffy NOT being able to bruteforce through an enemy with a good old beatdown or being weakened/restrained by something else that doesn't let him fight back, needing to think on a solution and often also needing help from others.
While the cast do get upgrades in power every now and then (like Luffy and his Gear techniques that essentially are boosts with more powerful moves), these are either clear and obtained from a explained source (new weapons), developed through training (what most of the cast gets after the timeskip), or even given some context through enemies before Luffy finally uses them, which is the case of the Haki, previously seen with Whitebeard's "strong presence" (later explained to be Conqueror's Haki) along techniques like being able to land a strike without actually making contact, running in the air, reinforcing your skin with an armor-like energy, and so on. And while many characters have been shown to take advantage of their cursed fruit powers, there's quite a few that DON'T have them and instead have their own natural or trained strength without the usage of those.
And the story itself gets to unfold a lot of interesting mysteries from the world, both related to the characters and the places they visit. While it might sound just sort of interesting to say "Hey, they mentioned this Wano country long ago and now we see them fight there!", it is that what we see in these places to be really dense in worldbuilding, characters and a strong buildup from the enviroment to the inevitable confrontation between the Strawhats and their new enemy standing on front of their current goal.
It does have a surprising range of feelings shown in many of the events that happen: Sometimes it is simply a happy but dangerous adventure Luffy is seeking, sometimes it shows a sad story of what used to be a beautiful place now ravaged by an evil pirate, sometimes it is a moment of pure adrenaline and anger with a fateful encounter (if Luffy is shown to be angry, you know things are going to get real)...but a lot of times Oda doesn't miss the chance to crack jokes, be it with comedic moments, funny faces or even with the names of a lot of things.
Pero ahora puedes estar pensando: "¿Pero hay algo más en One Piece que tener presagios en sus presagios?".
Pues claro que lo hay, de lo contrario no se conocerÃa tanto como ahora. En muchos momentos, los combates no son tan sencillos como crees y el reparto tiene que ingeniárselas de forma creativa para derrotar a sus oponentes, como ocurrÃa con los primeros tiempos de Luffy, que usaba técnicas con su cuerpo de goma para atacar, personajes menos poderosos como Usopp, Nami y Chopper tienen que arreglárselas con lo que pueden contra enemigos mucho más poderosos fÃsicamente, y a veces Luffy NO es capaz de vencer a un enemigo con una buena paliza o está debilitado/restringido por algo que no le permite contraatacar, por lo que tiene que pensar en una solución y a menudo también necesita ayuda de otros.
Aunque el elenco obtiene mejoras de poder de vez en cuando (como Luffy y sus técnicas Gear, que básicamente son potenciadores con movimientos más poderosos), éstas o bien son claras y se obtienen de una fuente explicada (nuevas armas), o se desarrollan a través del entrenamiento (lo que la mayorÃa del elenco obtiene tras el salto temporal), o incluso se contextualizan a través de los enemigos antes de que Luffy los utilice, como es el caso del Haki, que se ha visto anteriormente con la "fuerte presencia" de Barbablanca (que más tarde se explica que es el Haki del Conquistador), junto con técnicas como la capacidad de asestar un golpe sin hacer contacto, correr en el aire, reforzar la piel con una energÃa similar a la de una armadura, etc. Y aunque se ha demostrado que muchos personajes aprovechan los poderes de sus frutas malditas, hay bastantes que NO los tienen y que, en cambio, tienen su propia fuerza natural o entrenada sin usarlos.
Y la historia en sà consigue desvelar un montón de misterios interesantes del mundo, tanto relacionados con los personajes como con los lugares que visitan. Aunque pueda sonar un poco interesante decir "¡Eh, hace tiempo que mencionaron este paÃs de Wano y ahora los vemos luchar allÃ!", lo cierto es que lo que vemos en estos lugares es realmente denso en cuanto a worldbuilding, personajes y una fuerte construcción desde el entorno hasta el inevitable enfrentamiento entre los Strawhats y su nuevo enemigo situado frente a su objetivo actual.

But again, probably what can get most laughs out of others are the silly situations that the cast end up (or cause), as well as the aforementioned faces.

How can you get to One Piece...or how One Piece can get to you
Como puedes llegar al One Piece...o como el One Piece puede llegar a ti
With the cultural impact One Piece had as well as the continuous growth of people following it thanks to this reputation (as well as the progress it has been making towards the endgame of the story, over 15 years later), it makes sense that the One Piece virus would get to people in more forms than one.
The manga and anime have been around for decades at this point, and the aforementioned 4Kids dub in America (which was translated to other countries) is probably the most infamous yet influential of these in the early 2000s due to how niche anime was in mainstream at that point (which is definitely not the case now). Sure, it translated it as a silly cartoon for kids...but I certainly was one of those who knew of One Piece first thanks to that and the Gamecube One Piece Grand Adventure; even if that didn't exactly have me keep an eye on One Piece after I grew up.
The anime however has got far more appreciation now after being properly dubbed without strange alterations and having followed on the long path of the manga up to this day, as the manga itself is basically getting to the story's endgame. On that note, I had decided to read the manga not only for the original experience, but also for the fastest one to digest (and to stay up to date) due to the infamy behind the anime having a certain amount of filler: Original content of varying quality to pad out the anime length while it catches up to the current manga.
But even then, there's ways like One Pace to watch the anime with filler or anime-original content cut out to stay more faithful to the manga and reduce the runtime immensely so that you don't take absolutely forever to watch the whole thing (which even then, will still take you quite a while). However, it looks like the anime itself has been paying off a lot with the increase in animation budget and the voice acting for the current Wano arc with very important moments adding a lot to the hype, and anyone that (somehow) had been keeping up with the anime since its first days up to today, watching it weekly, must be absolutely going crazy over what is finally happening now after so long.
..Now, one of the oddest ways to discover things is by the unreasonable nature of memes on the internet. Aside from that Enel face (or as some might know it because of it, "DAMN DANIEL ar ar ar ar ar ar"), another one that started making the rounds out of the blue was an edit of a crucial scene in One Piece's story...as it switched to edits of the cast without pants.
I don't have a reason to make that up, and you might think that would be too stupid to be true, but these past few years have shown that so much things thought to be too stupid to happen are indeed possible. Oh, and the example here that meme but with the unedited pictures (pants included, so it is safe to watch lol), but just take my word for it (and by that I mean don't look it up) in that it indeed happened and was a thing doing rounds on Facebook a few months ago.
Con el impacto cultural que tuvo One Piece, asà como el continuo crecimiento de gente que lo sigue gracias a esta reputación (asà como el progreso que ha ido haciendo hacia el final de la historia, más de 15 años después), tiene sentido que el virus de One Piece llegue a la gente de más de una forma.
A estas alturas, el manga y el anime llevan décadas circulando, y el mencionado doblaje de 4Kids en Estados Unidos (que se tradujo a otros paÃses) es probablemente el más infame y a la vez influyente de todos ellos a principios de la década de 2000, debido a lo nicho que era el anime en el mainstream en aquel momento (lo que definitivamente no es el caso ahora). Por supuesto, se tradujo como un dibujo animado tonto para los niños ... pero sin duda fue uno de los que sabÃa de One Piece primero gracias a eso y el Gamecube One Piece Grand Adventure, incluso si eso no exactamente me hizo mantener un ojo en One Piece después de crecer.
El anime, sin embargo, es ahora mucho más apreciado después de haber sido doblado correctamente sin alteraciones extrañas y de haber seguido el largo camino del manga hasta nuestros dÃas, ya que el propio manga está llegando básicamente al final de la historia. En ese sentido, habÃa decidido leer el manga no sólo por la experiencia original, sino también por la más rápida de digerir (y para estar al dÃa) debido a la infamia detrás del anime de tener una cierta cantidad de relleno: Contenido original de calidad variable para rellenar la duración del anime mientras se pone al dÃa con el manga actual.
Pero incluso entonces, hay formas como One Pace para ver el anime con relleno o contenido original del anime recortado para mantenerse más fiel al manga y reducir el tiempo de ejecución inmensamente para que no tardes absolutamente una eternidad en verlo todo (que incluso entonces, todavÃa te llevará bastante tiempo). Sin embargo, parece que el anime en sà ha estado pagando mucho con el aumento en el presupuesto de animación y la actuación de voz para el actual arco Wano con momentos muy importantes añadiendo mucho a la expectación, y cualquiera que (de alguna manera) se habÃa mantenido al dÃa con el anime desde sus primeros dÃas hasta hoy, viéndolo semanalmente, debe ser absolutamente volviendo loco por lo que finalmente está sucediendo ahora después de tanto tiempo.
... Ahora, una de las formas más extrañas de descubrir cosas es por la naturaleza irracional de los memes en Internet. Aparte de esa cara de Enel (o como algunos la conocerán por ello, "DAMN DANIEL ar ar ar ar ar"), otro que empezó a hacer las rondas de la nada fue una edición de una escena crucial en la historia de One Piece...que cambiaba a ediciones del elenco sin pantalones.
No tengo una razón para inventar eso, y usted podrÃa pensar que serÃa demasiado estúpido para ser verdad, pero estos últimos años han demostrado que muchas cosas que se pensaba que era demasiado estúpido para suceder son de hecho posible. Ah, y el ejemplo aquà ese meme, pero con las fotos sin editar (pantalones incluidos, por lo que estás completamente seguro en verlo lol), pero sólo tome mi palabra para ella (y con eso quiero decir que no lo busques) en que, efectivamente, sucedió y fue una cosa haciendo rondas en Facebook hace unos meses.

While it might sound stupid to think that some people have discovered and started watching One Piece because of this, it might just be the curiosity left from these kind of dumb jokes that has you think "hmm maybe I should check it out". But of course new people don't always come out of memes: With how many keeping an eye on it nowadays, more often than not it is through word of mouth from any of your friends having watched it, someone you follow on the internet having made a review of it or just talking about watching/reading One Piece, or someone famous like a celebrity or professional sports player doing their thing with a piece of One Piece memorabilia with them.
I'd say that the four pillars (or emperors if you wish 🤠) of One Piece catching up to people at such an alarming rate, though this being my own conjeture of what I've seen rather than a scientifically dedicated study, are: The memes (which I just explained), the word of mouth, the big new media...and the One Piece itself.
See, the part about new media attracting people to One Piece might sound redundant or obvious, but as I mentioned at the beginning, I really started reading One Piece specifically after having watched One Piece Film RED with some friends as they invited me to do so. I didn't know that much about what was going on in One Piece outside of the few things I knew from the 4kids dubs (and memes), but as the movie was said to still be enjoyable even if you didn't know the references, I stuck through it...and boy it REALLY was a movie to watch on a theater.
While my full thoughts would probably have to be prepared in a different time, I can say that it was awesome to see all those characters and the presentation stack up in that way, while yet being left curious about many of them being unknown to me at that point (like the Cipher Pol agents, Franky, Brook and Jinbei, the Big Mom pirates), which only made it better each time I got introduced to those characters in the manga as I recognized them from the movie. It sounds backwards, but it does give you a sense of "Oh, so they are THESE guys from THIS place".

Aunque pueda parecer estúpido pensar que algunas personas han descubierto y empezado a ver One Piece gracias a esto, puede que sólo sea la curiosidad que dejan este tipo de bromas tontas lo que te hace pensar "hmm quizás deberÃa echarle un vistazo". Pero claro, no siempre de los memes sale gente nueva: Con la cantidad de gente que le echa un ojo hoy en dÃa, la mayorÃa de las veces es a través del boca a boca de alguno de tus amigos que lo ha visto, alguien a quien sigues en internet que ha hecho una reseña o simplemente habla de ver/leer One Piece, o alguien famoso como una celebridad o un jugador de deportes profesional haciendo de las suyas con una pieza de recuerdo de One Piece con ellos.
Yo dirÃa que los cuatro pilares (o emperadores si queréis 🤠) de que One Piece atrape a la gente a un ritmo tan alarmante, aunque esto siendo mi propia conjetura de lo que he visto más que un estudio cientÃficamente dedicado, son: Los memes (que acabo de explicar), el boca a boca, los grandes nuevos medios...y el propio One Piece.
Verás, la parte sobre los nuevos medios que atraen a la gente a One Piece puede sonar redundante u obvia, pero como mencioné al principio, realmente empecé a leer One Piece especÃficamente después de haber visto One Piece Film RED con algunos amigos, ya que me invitaron a hacerlo. Yo no sabÃa mucho acerca de lo que estaba pasando en One Piece fuera de las pocas cosas que sabÃa de los doblajes 4kids (y memes), pero como la pelÃcula se dice que sigue siendo agradable, incluso si usted no sabe las referencias, me quedé a través de ella ... y chico que realmente era una pelÃcula para ver en un teatro.

That, and the upcoming Netflix live action adaptation that, while still has some people skeptical because of Netflix's track record with anime and adaptations, has far more good will awaiting for it than the rest because of the people behind it clearly care for the franchise and has Oda overseeing the project. When THAT comes out, it will likely have even more people interested in One Piece (specially if it ends up being so good that people want to know what goes on in the story, a common story with anime watchers that transition to manga).
Then there's that one last piece that everybody wants to know about...

The titular One Piece is single-handedly one of the most unique McGuffin artifact plot point collectible anything that exists in fiction because the humongous mystery that it holds has been shared to every single person that knows about One Piece; not simply that they have watched or read One Piece at least once or that are in current, but ANYONE that even knows about One Piece and the mere concept of the protagonists being in the search of this fabled One Piece treasure.
And that is because of the fact that we still, to this day, don't know WHAT the One Piece is, only that we are finally getting close to see it ourselves as the manga is approaching its final arc.
One Piece itself already holds so many treasures and myths uncovered and waiting to be uncovered (the Poneglyphs, the ancient weapons, Joy Boy, Shanks doing ANYTHING in the manga/anime), let alone the centerpiece of the story discovered and then hidden away by Gol D. Roger, which is stated outright in the very first moment in the first opening of the anime, and the idea that the ultimate treasure that moved every big player in the One Piece world is finally close to be discovered by a new generation of pirates (and us) is the magic key that has got so many people scrambling to catch up to everything so that they can finally see it with their own eyes without spoilers and with all the weight of the Strawhats adventures it took to get there.
People that might have kept an eye on it since the 90s, the 2000s, the 2010s, and even right now will all be sharing the same desire to see the mystery finally solved, which could even be noticed with how One Piece had videogames for it all the way back to the PS1 up to now as there was a brand new release in the form of One Piece Odyssey for PS4/PS5 in 2023; any that have been following it since the beginning have seen these characters grow and change with them, while people that recently catched up with everything have seen that development show how they got there along the years, and anyone that simply sees different One Piece media from different times will inevitably notice different designs for the characters and techniques (like pre and post-timeskip media).
The reveal of the mysterious One Piece is what will gather a lot of people around the world: Newcomers to the series that are still trying to catch up, those that caught up recently, those that were waiting during every single step of the story for years, and even people that haven't even read or watched One Piece at all, EVERYBODY will be knowing what the One Piece actually is in the moment it happens as if it was an once-in-a-lifetime eclipse, and it will be impossible to recreate once again.
And Oda has already said that it is NOT the power of friendship or the friends we made along the way or the journey: it is a REAL tangible thing, and with how hyped up the One Piece has been in-universe (as well as the reveal of insane things what a certain person's fruit is supposed to be), whatever it is...it surely must be something truly to make a brand new world.

You can tell that from the density of how much I wrote (I seriously hadn't written this much since months) that I did indeed catch up to a lot of what One Piece had to offer and had a lot to say about what slowly but surely made me stay along for the asbrudly long ride.
And the thing about the One Piece being real, as in, really real, it might not be in this world...but as I said, with how basically all of us have grown in some way or another while this story is still ongoing yet had a very clear goal of obtaining this One Piece, not only we have seen one of the largest adventures ever written and lived through it, but also that anyone that is still here that wants to know what the One Piece is will sooner or later be able to see with the Strawhats what they (and every pirate in their world) were looking for since the first second.
It does feel something far more special that just the expectation of a big fight or simply to see the conclusion of a manga, but more like the ultimate goal of an almost 20 year long story finally being achieved (independently of whether this would mean the definitive end of the One Piece manga/story as soon as it happens or not) and be able to share that with friends and strangers around the world that have been waiting for this to become true for so long.

Oh, and as a sort of related last thing to go out, shoutouts to Griffybones for showing up so much on my Twitter feed by practicing combos and playing an One Piece fighting game on the 3DS that apparently had far more to it than anyone would expect, which happened to be a really funny coincidence as I caught up to Wano while this happened.
