I have not seen many Marvel series but the ones I have managed to see have left me with a certain taste to see a little more, I have heard that Daredevil is the best Marvel series, although I did not have much hope in it because they almost always end up disappointing me a series that everyone names, but I do not know why it also generates the opposite effect on me. I had a good and bad feeling at the same time, but now that I finished its first season I completely changed my opinion and I can say that it is one of the best I've seen from Marvel, and yes I mean all of Marvel.
Let's see, let's divide this in parts, first the reason why I decided to watch the series. The truth is the fact that I watched the series was completely random, I could have passed it up since I had other series to watch on the list but I simply decided to watch Daredevil and I can say that it is one of the best series I have seen (at least so far in the series). I simply loved this series, not only because it's from Marvel as that doesn't make it special, but it makes a perfect combination between realism and superhero fiction.
The first season gives you enough information so that you know who the characters are and can differentiate them from each other, the different subplots that are generated as the series progresses have enough depth to be able to develop and not feel so forced to close. In this first season, we get to see the beginning of Matt as a lawyer allied with Foggy and his wanderings as the Devil of Hell's Kitchen.
I can say that both the parts of the Devil of Hell's Kitchen and the lawyer Matt Murdock are completely great, no doubt the protagonist of this story in this adaptation is work with great effort but overshadow the other characters, each of them has enough participation to make you get attached and you can want to see them on screen. Seeing how they treat Matt's conflicts by linking them with religion and how this recurs to the father on some occasions make the character not feel so monotonous with the plot and can react to events the way Matt Murdock would.
At the beginning I didn't like Karen's character but as the series progressed I started to like her a little more, I don't know, I thought she was the typical damsel in distress but no, it turns out that she is not like that and I liked it. Foggy, what can I say about Foggy, simply a great character, proving in each chapter to be a true friend to Matt and Karen, being useful in many occasions not only the chubby and funny character but an important character in this story.
Vincent D'Onorio simply does an excellent job as Wilson Fisk, in my opinion there is no cast for this character than Vincent, every time Fisk appears on screen I had the impression that something was going to happen, I don't know what, but something had to happen and almost always he was right, some other times he wasn't, but most of the time he was right. Seeing how little by little the Devil of Hell's Kitchen was collapsing his plan, directly or indirectly, was fascinating, after his appearance in the public light his plans went into a tailspin. That they dedicated an episode to the villain is not so revolutionary but I liked a little bit to see Wilson Fisk's past.
The action scenes are great, and as it has to be, it would be a crime for me to talk about the fights and not mention in a special way the mythical fight in the hallway, simply epic. The way they filmed that scene without any cuts and the camera following the action is something that is simply amazing. The fights are very well worked, although in some occasions you can notice that they are fake punches and, in my opinion, that cuts a little impression of fiction but it's not that big of a deal either.
It is a very good series, without a doubt, one of the best that Marvel has, it is an audio visual section both on the small screen and on the big screen now with all this of the universes. Good fights, well developed and closed subplots, great cast of characters and an interesting story that I definitely want to continue watching in the other two seasons. I recommend it with all the confidence in the world that most of you will like it.

No he visto muchas series de Marverl pero las que he logrado ver me han dejado cierto gusto por ver un poco más, he escuchado que Daredevil es la mejor serie de Marvel, aunque no tenía mucha esperanza en ella porque casi siempre terminan decepcionándome una serie que todo el mundo nombra, pero no sé por qué también me genera el efecto contrario. Tenía un presentimiento bueno y malo a la vez, pero ahora que ya termine su primera temporada cambié completamente mi opinión y puedo decir que es de lo mejor que he visto de Marvel, y sí digo de todo Marvel.
A ver, dividamos esto por parte, primero el por qué decidí ver la serie. La verdad el hecho por el que vi la serie fue completamente aleatorio, podía dejarla pasar ya que tenía otras series que ver en la lista pero simplemente me decidí por Daredevil y puedo decir que una de las mejores series que he visto (por lo menos lo que llevo de serie). Simplemente me encantó esta serie, no solo porque es de Marvel ya que eso no la vuelve especial, sino que hace una combinación perfecta entre realismo y ficción de superhéroes.
La primera temporada te da la información suficiente como para que sepas quienes son los personajes y puedas diferenciarlos entre cada uno, las diferentes subtramas que se van generando conforme avanza la serie tienen la suficiente profundidad para poder desarrollarse y que no se sientan tan forzadas a cerrarse. En esta primera temporada, podemos ver el inicio de Matt como abogado aliado con Foggy y sus andanzas como el Diablo de Hell’s Kitchen.
Puedo decir que tanto las parte del Diablo de Hell’s Kitchen como las del abogado Matt Murdock son complemente buenísimas, sin duda el protagonista de esta historia en esta adaptación es trabajo con gran esfuerzo pero opacar a los demás personajes, cada uno de ellos tiene la participación suficiente para que te encariñes y puedas querer verlos en pantalla. Ver cómo tratan la conflictos de Matt ligándolos con la religión y cómo este recure al padre en algunas ocasiones hacen que el personaje no se sienta tan monótono con la trama y que pueda reaccionar a los sucesos de la forma en lo que lo haría Matt Murdock.
Al principio el personaje de Karen no me agradaba mucho pero conforme iba avanzando la serie fui simpatizando un poco más el personaje, no sé, me generaba esa de ser la típica damisela en apuros pero no, resulta que no es así y me gusto verlo. Foggy, qué puedo decir de Foggy, simplemente un gran personaje, demostrando en cada capítulo ser un verdadero amigo para Matt y Karen, siendo útil en muchas ocasiones no solo el personaje gordito y gracioso sino un personaje importante en esta historia.
Vincent D’Onorio simplemente hace un excelente trabajo como Wilson Fisk, a mi parecer no hay cast para este personaje que Vincent, cada que Fisk aparece en pantalla me daba la impresión que iba a suceder algo, el qué no sé, pero algo tenía que pasar y casi siempre tenía razón, algunos otras veces no, pero en su mayoría sí. Ver como poco a poco el Diablo de Hell’s Kitchen iba derrumbando su plan, de manera directa o indirecta, era fascinante, luego de su aparición a la luz pública sus planes fueron en picada. Que le dedicaran un episodio al villano no es tan revolucionario pero me gusto un poco ver el pasado de Wilson Fisk.
Las escenas de acción son grandiosas, y como tiene que suceder, sería un delito de mi parte que hablara de las peleas y no mencionara de manera especial la mítica pelea en el pasillo, simplemente épico. La forma en la filmaron esa escena sin ningún tipo de corte y la cámara siguiendo la acción es algo que simplemente es asombroso. Las peleas son muy bien trabajadas, aunque en algunas ocasiones se puede notar que son golpes falsos y, en mi opinión, eso corta un poco impresión de la ficción pero tampoco es para tanto.
Es una muy buena serie, sin duda, de lo mejor que tiene Marvel, es una apartado audio visual tanto en la pantalla chica como en la pantalla grande ahora con todo esto de los universos. Peleas buenas, subtramas bien desarrolladas y cerradas, gran cast de personajes y una historia interesante que sin duda quiero continuar viendo en las otras dos temporadas. Se las recomiendo con toda la confianza del mundo en que les gustara a una gran parte de ustedes.
