Last night I watched Bad Trip, I wanted to see it because I love everything Eric Andre does, and I loved it too much, it's a different way to watch it but using the resources he worked with in the past, taking into account his work in "Eric Andre Show", this movie is like a one hour and 20 minutes sketch where they go on a trip to New York, or that's what they try to do hahaha.
Anoche me vi Bad Trip, me la quería ver porque amo todo lo que hace Eric Andre, y la ame demasiado, es una manera diferente de verlo pero usando los recursos con los que trabajo en el pasado, tomando en cuenta su trabajo en “Eric Andre Show”, esta película es como un Sketch de una hora y 20 minutos donde van en un viaje a Nueva York, o eso es lo que tratan de hacer jajaja.
According to Wikipedia it is a hidden camera movie directed by Kitao Sakurai, the plot follows two friends who are comedians Eric Andre and Lil Rel Howery take a road trip from Florida to New York City so that one of the two can declare their love to a Crush from their high school who is played by actress Michaela Conlin, While being chased by the other friend's criminal sister who is played by comedian Tiffany Haddish, because they have stolen her car in order to make that trip.
De acuerdo a Wikipedia es una película de cámara oculta dirijida por Kitao Sakurai, la trama sigue a que dos amigos los cuales son los comediantes Eric Andre y Lil Rel Howery toman un viaje de carretera desde Florida a la Ciudad de Nueva York para que uno de los dos le pueda declarar su amor a un Crush de su escuela secundaria la cual es interpretada por la actriz Michaela Conlin, Mientras son perseguidos por la hermana criminal del otro amigo la cual es interpretada por la comediante Tiffany Haddish, porque le han robado el auto para poder hacer ese viaje.
To clarify this is a type of comedy something not recurrent to what you see in comedy movies nowadays, comedy is subjective and anyone may or may not find it funny, as this movie is a hidden camera show, with a plot in between to make all these scenes make sense and connect to each other, it is something similar to Bad Granpda or Borat where all the scenes are jokes in the street with real people, being them involved in a bigger plot which is not given so much importance.
Para aclarar este es un tipo de comedia algo no recurrente a lo que ves en las películas de comedia hoy en dia, la comedia es subjetiva y a cualquiera puede o no causarle gracia, como esta película es un show de cámaras ocultas, con una trama de en medio para hacer que todas estas escenas tengan sentido y se conecten unas a otras, es algo parecido a Bad Granpda o Borat donde todas las escenas son bromas en la calle con personas reales, siendo ellas envueltas en una trama más grande a la cual no se le da tanta importancia.
Can it make you laugh? Depends, haha, because the jokes shown here range from fucked in the head to sexual themes, it's not something you would watch with your underage kids nor something you would watch with your parents, well depending on how liberal of a humorist they are. To explain all this let's go back to Eric Andre's talk show and hidden camera show so peculiarly called The Eric Andre Show, the jokes here are heavy, they include many somewhat delicate topics and the jokes are both his interviewees and some sketches he does on the street, there the mind of him and his many scriptwriters that help him write everything form a very quick 10 minute show where everything moves very fast and the humor is from nonsense to sexual or racial topics, or gunshots or weird sounds, endless things.
Te puede hacer reír? Depende, jaja, porque las bromas que se muestran aquí están desde jodido de la cabeza a temas sexuales, no es algo que verías con tus hijos menores de edad ni tampoco algo que verías con tus padres, bueno dependiendo de qué tan liberales de humor son. Para explicar todo esto remontemos al programa de entrevistas y cámara oculta de Eric Andre llamado tan peculiarmente The Eric Andre Show, las bromas aquí son pesadaaaas, incluyen muchos tópicos un tanto delicados y las bromas son tanto sus entrevistados como unos sketch que hace en la calle, ahí la mente de el y sus tantos guionistas que le ayudan a escribir todo forman un programa muy rápido de 10 minutos donde todo se mueve muy rápido y el humor es desde sin sentido a temas sexuales o raciales, o disparos o sonidos raros, un sinfín de cosas.
The acting is great, for a movie made just for fun and to make people laugh, the other actors follow the rhythm to Eric Andre's crazy stuff, there is just as you can see in the final behind the scenes there are certain people that were very convinced with the joke, they are so committed that all the people around believe what is happening, it is very well produced and it is like the top of quality of a street joke sketch, just lie down on your couch and enjoy everything that is going on.
La actuación es estupenda, para ser una película hecha por simple joda y querer hacer reir, los demás actores le siguen el ritmo a las locuras de Eric Andre, hay justo como se ve en el detrás de cámaras final hay ciertas personas que se mostraron muy convencidas con la broma, están tan comprometidos que toda la gente alrededor se cree lo que está pasando, está muy bien producido y es como el tope de calidad de un sketchs de bromas callejeras, solo acuéstate en tu sofá y disfruta todo lo que está pasando.
After everything I exposed here about this movie without major Spoilers, um to me it doesn't seem like a bad movie, if the plot is a little weak and silly hahaha, well it's ironic because it really mocks those cliché plots about high school love and average love movies, with an unnecessarily big but very funny stupidity of the main actors, making witty jokes in the street that are not the typical ones you would see in those street joke shows all silly and everyday, the movie does achieve its goal, to make you laugh, and that is the goal of comedy, to make you laugh so I give it an:
Después de todo lo que expuse aca sobre esta película sin Spoilers importantes, em a mi no me parece una película mala, si la trama es un poco floja y tonta jajaja, bueno es irónica porque la verdad se mofa de esas tramas cliché sobre amores de secundaria y películas promedio de amor, con una estupidez innecesariamente grande pero muy graciosa de los actores principales, haciendo bromas ingeniosas en la calle que no son las típicas que verías en esos programas de bromas en la calle todas tontas y cotidianas, la película si logra su cometido, hacer reír, y es el objetivo de la comedia, hacerte reír así que yo le doy un:

If I criticize it for the comedy, I laughed a lot at most of the jokes, do all the skits work? No. There are a few weak ones but for the most part they are pretty good, plus they made several attempts to get the best reaction from people, as you can see at the end in the credits that show the behind the scenes and the failed shots, or that they didn't get the reaction they wanted, and that is highly valued for me, they wanted to do the best they could and they did, besides having a very unexpected ending that I would not have thought would happen and is super funny hahahaha, I leave you with that wink for you to see it, I would totally recommend it if you have a pretty good sense of humor.
Si la critico por la comedia, a mi me hizo reír bastante la mayoría de las bromas, ¿Todas los skecth funcionan? nom hay algunos un tanto flojos pero en su mayoría están bastante bien, además de que se hicieron varios intentos de ellas para lograr obtener la mejor reacción de las personas, como se ve al final en los créditos que muestran el detrás de cámaras y las tomas fallidas, o que no lograron la reacción que ellos querían, y eso está muy valorado para mi, se quisieron hacer las cosas lo mejor que se pudo y así fue, además de tener un final muy inesperado que yo no hubiesen pensado que pasaría y es súper graciosísimo jajajaja, te dejo con ese guiño para que la veas, la recomendaría totalmente si tienes un sentido del humor bastante bueno.
