My favourite character of Johnny's is Sweeney Tood (who I also talked about in another post). This character was one of the actor's greatest challenges and he did it to perfection.

Acting is one of the most difficult careers, you have to stop being you to start being someone else and on top of that, you have to convey what your character feels and get it across to the viewer. It may sound simple but we see actors like Adam Samdler or Vin Disel being the same characters in all their films, they tend to get typecast or pigeonholed, but actors like Helena, this doesn't happen to them, either because of a lot of work, natural talent or a bit of both.
La actuación es una de las carreras más difíciles, debes dejar de ser tú para empezar a ser alguien más y además de eso, debes transmitir lo que tu personaje siente y que llegue al espectador. In this case, I have two favourite characters played by Helena: one is Mrs Lovett and the other is Bellatrix Lestrange. Mrs Lovett is a passive psychopath, in love with her homicide partner and who has a twisted mind despite not showing it. On the other hand, Bellatrix Lestrange is also a psychopath, however, this one is more passionate and unhinged, has no reason to murder and enjoys doing it. Although both are psychopaths, they have very different personalities and motives. Helena's acting helps a lot to differentiate the two and I have read the Harry Potter books a thousand times and I can say that Helena's performance in Bellatrix's shoes is amazing and quite accurate in every aspect, from her physicality to her personality and way of speaking.
En este caso, tengo dos personajes preferidos que interpreta Helena: Uno es Mrs. Lovett y el otro Bellatrix Lestrange. Mrs Lovett es una psicópata pasiva, enamorada de su compañero de homicidios y que tiene una mente retorcida pese a no hacerlo notar. Por otro lado, Bellatrix Lestrange también es una psicópata, sin embargo, esta es más pasional y desquiciada, no tiene motivos para asesinar y disfruta hacerlo. La menera de actuar de Helena ayuda mucho a diferenciar a ambas y yo que he leído los libros de Harry Potter mil veces puedo decir que la actuación de Helena en los zapatos de Bellatrix, es asombrosa y bastante acertada en cada aspecto, desde lo físico hasta en su personalidad y forma de hablar.
Helena is also a very gentle person, always willing to help her younger co-performers, very humble and funny, she even makes jokes when it's her turn to perform with someone younger and inexperienced so that they don't feel self-conscious or nervous. She treats her fans very well and is quite peaceful and lovable, as well as very affectionate. She has my admiration not only as an artist but as a person as well.
Helena también es una persona bastante gentil, siempre dispuesta a ayudar a sus compañeros de actuación más jóvenes, muy humilde y graciosa, incluso hace chistes cuando le toca actuar con alguien más joven e inexperto para que no se sienta cohibido o nervioso. Trata muy bien a sus fans y es bastante pacifica y adorable, además de muy cariñosa. Ella tiene mi admiración no solo como artista sino como persona también.
