When I consider talking about the TV shows I love I immediately try to make a mental list that I write down to discard and leave the ones I care the most, sincerely there are many, I grew up watching TV, all the stages of my life are marked by some TV show I watched at that time, this made me divide my list in three: A list of TV shows I watched as a child, another list for my adolescence and a third list already in my adulthood. With this scoop I start with the TV shows that I remember with love the most from my childhood, in this sense I have taken a couple of titles about what I am going to write about next:
Cuando me planteo hablar de los programas de TV que amo inmediatamente trato de hacer una lista mental que voy anotando para descartar e ir dejando las que más me importa, sinceramente son muchas, muchas crecí viendo TV, todas las etapas de mi vida están marcada por algún programa de TV que veía en ese momento, esto me hizo dividir en tres mi lista: Una lista de los programas de TV que veía cuando era un niño, otra lista para mi adolescencia y una tercera lista ya en mi edad adulta. Con esta primicia comienzo con los programas de TV que más recuerdo con amor de mi niñez, en este sentido he tomado un par de títulos sobre lo que voy a escribir a continuación:

Tele Match
It was a kind of thematic Olympics where in each episode two teams faced each other overcoming agility tests and very crazy and fun skills using exclusive clothing and equipment that were manufactured for each specific test. Tele Match was what made me jump out of bed when I woke up every weekend, in my country it was broadcasted during the 80s in the mornings on Channel 5 and later on Televen. I think it was the only TV program that everyone at home could watch, because it was entertaining for all ages and sexes, it was a time when the TV schedule was very segmented, there were political talk shows and news programs that only adults watched, children's programming for children, some TV series and soap operas that were aimed at women, Tele Match was for everyone.
Tele Match is a TV program of German origin that was recorded throughout the 70's, it was about atypical competitions in teams with certain physical and agility demands, where you faced German cities, I remember that I liked the implements and costumes used exclusively for each test, with very striking thematic decorations that I imagined were related to the culture of the localities where they were. I remember that the teams were identified with a large letter on the torso of the participants that was the initial letter of the team's name. The competitions could be very crazy, passing obstacles, using uncomfortable suits that simulated giant hands, heads or feet, giant bicycles and carts, they did tests where they collected some giant item such as balls, coins or letters, transporting them while crossing obstacles, other tests were of speed using some type of clothing or implement that increased the degree of difficulty; they could be indoors, outdoors, on a hill, in a pool and even on an ice rink. I believe that, if this is not the first program of this type of competition, it is at least among the first in history.
Era especie de olimpiadas temáticas donde en cada episodio se enfrentaban dos equipos superando pruebas de agilidad y destrezas muy locas y divertidas usando vestimenta y equipamientos exclusivos que eran fabricados para cada prueba en específico. Tele Match era lo que me hacía saltar de la cama al despertar cada fin de semana, en mi país fue transmitido durante los años 80s en las mañanas por el Canal 5 y después por Televen. Creo que era el único programa de TV que podían ver todos en casa, ya que era entretenido para todas las edades y sexo, era un tiempo donde el horario de la televisión estaba muy segmentado, había programas de entrevistas políticas y noticieros que solo lo veían los adultos, programación infantil para los niños, algunas series de TV y telenovelas que eran dirigidas a mujeres, Tele Match era para todos.
Tele Match es un programa de TV de origen alemán que se grabó durante toda la década de los años 70, se trataba de competencias atípicas en equipos con cierta exigencia física y de agilidad, donde se enfrentabas ciudades alemanas, recuerdo que me gustaba los implementos y trajes que usaban exclusivos para cada prueba, con decorados temáticas muy llamativos que yo imaginaba estaban relacionadas con la cultura de las localidades donde se encontraban. Recuerdo que los equipos se identificaban con una gran letra en el torso de los participantes que era la letra inicial del nombre del equipo. Las competencias podían ser muy locas, pasando obstáculos, usando trajes incomodos que simulaban manos, cabezas o pies gigantes, bicicletas y carritos gigantes, hacían pruebas donde recolectaban algún artículo gigante como pelotas, monedas o letras, transportándolas mientras atravesaban obstáculos, otras pruebas eran de velocidad usando algún tipo de vestimenta o implemento que aumentaba el grado de dificultad; podían ser en lugares cerrados, al aire libre, en una colina, en una piscina y hasta en una pista de hielo. Creo que, si este no es el primer programa de este tipo de competencia, al menos está entre los primeros de la historia.

Il était une fois... l'Homme (Once Upon A Time... The Man).
This was a cartoon TV program of French origin that premiered in 1978, which was broadcast in Venezuela during the decade of the 80's, I remember that they were very short and very entertaining episodes that were teaching me important events about the history of mankind. I remember that there I could see in a very entertaining way the origin of everything, it awakened my curiosity in an extraordinary way, today it seems to me a wonderful TV program, because it was very pedagogical, the objective of the TV program was to teach and in that sense it was a success because it was very entertaining and addictive, bombarding historical information in such a way that a child would want to watch it, it was learning in a fun way. There was a character who was a kind of clock with eyes that showed you the year in which the episode was going to take place, there was also another one who was an old professor whose beard and white hair was so long that it covered his body completely.
The intro theme, after I grew up I learned that it was Johann Sebastian Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor, BWV 565. And the main theme was Beethoven's Septimino. It was culture and art at its best, it was a marvel.
I remember seeing there, the origin of the planet, life on the planet, the origin of man according to the theory of Evolution, the history of the industrial revolution, the French revolution, Egypt, the Roman empire, I knew something of the history of the Vikings, the birth of the United States, even something of the first and second world war. Today as an adult, I understand why this program was censored in several countries, the way it narrates the events can be subject to interpretations and debates, but leaving this aside I focus on what it meant to me at the time
“Il était une fois... l'Homme” (Era una vez… El Hombre)
Este era un programa de TV de dibujos animados de origen francés que se estrenó en 1978, la cual se transmitió en Venezuela durante la década de los años 80, recuerdo que eran episodios muy cortos y muy entretenidos que me iban enseñando eventos importantes sobre la historia del hombre. Recuerdo que ahí pude ver de forma muy entretenida el origen de todo, despertaba mi curiosidad de forma extraordinaria, hoy me parece una maravilla de programa de TV, ya que, era muy pedagógica, el objetivo del programa de TV era el de enseñar y en ese sentido fue todo un éxito porque era muy entretenido y adictivo, bombardeando información histórica de tal forma que un niño quisiera verlo, era aprender de forma divertida. Había un personaje que era una especie de reloj con ojos que te mostraba el año en que iba a transcurrir el episodio, también estaba otro que era un anciano profesor cuya barba y cabello blanco era tan largo que lo vestía completamente.
El tema de la intro, después de adulto me entere que se trataba de La Tocata y fuga en re menor, BWV 565 de Johann Sebastian Bach. Y el Tema principal era el Septimino de Beethoven. Era cultura y arte en su máxima expresión, era una maravilla.
Recuerdo haber visto ahí, el origen del planeta, la vida en el planeta, el origen del hombre según la teoría de la Evolución, la historia de la revolución industrial, la revolución francesa, Egipto, el imperio Romano, conocí algo de la historia de Los Vikingos, el nacimiento de Los Estados Unidos, hasta algo de la primera y segunda guerra mundial. Hoy como adulto, entiendo por qué este programa fue censurado en varios países, la forma en que narra los sucesos pueden estar sujetos a interpretaciones y debates, pero dejando esto a un lado me centro en lo que significó para mí en su momento.
