What's up cinephiles, what a pleasure to share with you one more opinion about movies and television, frankly it had been a while since I sat down to watch a movie and it was only recently that I could finally spend some time to watch The Flash, taking advantage that it was one of the most recent additions to HBO Max. The hype around this movie and what was shown in the promotional trailer was quite high, finally DC comic was going to venture into the subject of alternate realities, the competition of Marvel's multiverse.

Que tal cinéfilos que gusto volver a compartir con ustedes una opinion mas sobre cine y television, francamente tenia tiempo que no me sentaba a ver alguna película y fue recién que pude por fin dedicar un rato para ver The Flash aprovechando que fue una de las incorporaciones mas recientes en HBO Max. El Hype alrededor de esta película y lo que se dejo entre ver en el momento del trailer promocional fue bastante alto, por fin DC comic iba a incursionar en el tema de las realidades alternas, la competencia del multiverso de Marvel.
One of the things that worried me the most, so to speak, is that all the promo before the movie showed a lot of other super heroes, implying that it will focus much more on them than on Flash, that the side stories will occupy much of the time of the film, Batman with the return of Michael Keaton, Sasha Calle American actress with Latin origins breaking the stereotype of SuperGirl from blonde to a brunette woman, but pleasantly I can say that if indeed Flash and his story is the center of the plot.
Una de las cosas que mas me preocupaba, por decirlo de alguna manera, es que toda la promo previa a la película mostraba mucho de otros super heroes, dando a entender que se centrará mucho mas en ellos que en Flash, que las side stories ocuparan mucho del tiempo de la película, de Batman con el regreso de Michael Keaton, se Sasha Calle actriz americana con orígenes latinos rompiendo los esquemas con el estereotipo de SuperGirl de rubia a una mujer morena, pero gratamente puedo decir que si efectivamente Flash y su historia es el centro de la trama.
Another detail to highlight is the work of director Andy Muschietti, I can't say I'm a fan of his work, most of it has been in the horror genre, but with very good reviews, so seeing him venture into the world of super heroes seemed quite interesting, in fact one usually sees in these transitions of generated usually a dark touch that is maintained and indeed so happens with The Flash, but in a good sense and with very good results.
Otro detalle a destacar es el trabajo del director Andy Muschietti, no puedo decir que soy fan de su trabajo, la mayoría de el a sido en el genero de terror, pero con muy buenas críticas, así que verlo incursionar en el mundo de los super heroes me parecía bastante interesante, de hecho uno suele ver en estas transiciones de generó normalmente un toque dark que se mantiene y efectivamente así ocurre con The Flash, pero en un buen sentido y con muy buenos resultados.
The other big detail around the premiere of the film was the whole scandal with Ezra Miller, after a series of legal accusations that included theft, abuse and even sexual abuse, many of the accusations were sentenced and the actor still pays the consequences, but many others have been dismissed for lack of hard evidence, the truth is that after 2 years of scandals, it was possible for the actor to finish the film and could be in the premiere of the same.
El otro gran detalle alrededor del estreno de la película era todo el escándalo con Ezra Miller, se vio envuelto en un escándalo tras una serie de acusaciones legales que incluían robo, maltrato y hasta abuso sexual, muchas de las acusaciones llegaron a sentencia y el actor aún paga las consecuencias, pero muchas otras han sido desestimadas por faltas de pruebas contundentes, lo cierto es que tras 2 años de escándalos, fue posible que el actor finalizará la película y pudiese estar en el estreno de la misma.

Creo que esto le dio gran publicidad, no es algo que comparta, pero lamentablemente este mundo está de cabeza, la gente está deseosa de entretenerse incluso de forma bizarra, por eso cualquier escándalo llama la atención y la personas toman parte de uno u otro lado, defendiendo a la víctima o el victimario, lo cual paso con este actor, lo que muchos llaman normal en lo que respecta al ambiente de Hollywood, si no tiene algun escandalo en su curriculum, si no ha sido controversial en algún momento, no es suficiente para esta industria.

Precisely the scandals surrounding the actor caused in me some rejection towards the film, when it was released in theaters clearly I didn't plan to spend a penny to go see it, well I said I would wait until it was on the streaming platform as indeed happened, but what a surprise I got when I saw this movie, I really liked it even though its CGI is one of the worst I've seen so far, I never thought that the reason why I would like it so much would be because of the performance of Ezra Miller.
Precisamente los escándalos alrededor del actor causaron en mi cierto rechazo hacia la película, cuando se estrenó en el cine claramente no pensaba gastar un centavo para ir a verla, bien me dije que esperaría hasta que estuviera en la plataforma de streaming como efectivamente pasó, pero vaya sorpresa me lleve al ver esta película, realmente me gusto a pesar de que su CGI es una de los peores que e visto hasta ahora, jamás pensé que la razón por la que me gustaría tanto seria por la actuación de Ezra Miller.
Since his participation in Zack Snyder's Justice League I didn't like him as an actor, I thought his interpretation of Barry Allen was very silly, when I understood that he is a brilliant and very intelligent character, I understood that it was part of the script but also had the actor's touch, so I was already predisposed for this movie, but what a surprise I got, so if you haven't seen the movie, my comments below is full of spoilers.
Desde su participación en la película Justice League de Zack Snyder no me agrado como actor, me pareció que su interpretación de Barry Allen fue muy tonta, cuando tenia entendido que es un personaje brillante y muy inteligente, entendi que era parte del guion pero tambien tenia el toque del actor, así que ya estaba predispuesto para esta película, pero que sorpresa me he llevado, así que si no has visto la película, mis comentarios a continuación está llenos de spoiler.

When he tries to do so, he thinks he has succeeded and when he wants to return to his time he is involved in a parallel reality, as a result of altering the past he alters the present but in another reality, discovering that he did not travel in time, he traveled between realities, I know it is confusing but in the movie they explain it better.
Barry al alcanzar una gran velocidad logra distorsionar el espacio tiempo, esto le da la idea de poder "volver en el pasado" para evitar el asesinato de su madre y esclarecer el crimen. Al intentarlo cree lograrlo y al querer volver a su tiempo se ve envuelto en una realidad paralela, como resultado de alterar el pasado altera el presente pero en otra realidad, descubriendo que no viajo en el tiempo, viajo entre realidades, se que es confuso pero en la película lo explican mejor.
The fact is that he is trapped in a reality where his mother is alive, his other self has a much dumber personality, careless, but more cheerful than his, much funnier, especially that, the change of character, the interaction between the two Barry Allen is the best of this film, Ezra Miller achieves a great interpretation of two people who should be Flash, but with a lot of jocularity when necessary and much seriousness too, wow I was impressed by this, just for that I highly recommend watching the movie.
El caso es que queda atrapado en una realidad donde su madre está viva, su otro yo tiene una personalidad mucho mas tonta, descuidada, pero mas alegre que la de el, mucho mas chistosa, sobre todo eso, el cambio de personaje, la interaction entre los dos Barry Allen es de lo mejor de esta película, Ezra Miller logra una gran interpretación de dos personas que deben ser Flash, pero con mucha jocosidad cuando es necesario y mucha seriedad tambien, vaya que me impresionó esto, solo por eso recomiendo ampliamente ver la película.

Gracias a esta experiencia con el actor, los grandes fallos con el CGI quedan a un lado, la verdad no me molestaron, llega la escena principal donde podemos ver muchos super heroes de distintas realidades, cuyos gráficos no son nada mejor que los de una consola de videojuegos de principios de los años 2000, pero hasta este punto te has reído e incluso llorado unas cuantas veces con el personaje de Flash que puedes perdonar semejante fallo, que su director Andy Muschietti no califica como tal, es "aclara" que fue hecho de esta manera a propósito porque así es la prospectiva de Barry.
It is also possible to forgive such a poor CGI thanks to the cameos that such a scene offers, my favorite was Michael Keaton's Batman, one of my favorite versions of this character thanks to the Batman Forever movie directed by Tim Burton, but there are other great surprises like Christopher Reeve's Superman, Adam West's Batman that although it is not from my time, it was shown on national television in my country even in my childhood years, but the one that surprised me the most was a Nicolas Cage's Superman, one that never happened and that could have been in the 90's directed by Tim Burton, I invite you to investigate more about why it didn't happen and why he fights with a spider in this scene, I'm sure you will freak out like me.
También es posible perdonar un CGI tan pobre gracias a los cameos que ofrece tal escena, mi favorito fue el Batman de Michael Keaton, una de mis versiones favoritas de este personaje gracias a la película de Batman Forever dirigida por Tim Burton, pero hay otras grandes sorpresas como el Superman de Christopher Reeve, el Batman de Adan West que aunque no es de mi epoca, lo pasaron en television nacional de mi pais aun en los años de mi niñez, pero el que mas me sorprendio fue un superman de Nicolas Cage, uno que jamás se dio y que pudo ser en los 90 dirigido por Tim Burton, les invito a que investiguen mas sobre el porque no se dio y porque pelea con una araña en esta escena, seguro van a flipar como yo.
