El Eternauta: Buen Sci-Fi en LATAM? || Good Sci-Fi on LATAM?

SPA: La nueva serie Argentina titulada el Eternauta me sorprendió. No estoy acostumbrado a ver una producción hecha en Latinoamérica de este calibre. Primero que nada está protagonizada por Ricardo Darín y que este hombre esté encabezando el cast de una serie me pareció increíble. Aparte de eso, la producción está muy sólida. Tiene mucho nivel. Parece una producción norteamericana y eso ya es decir bastante para algo hecho en este lado del globo. Y las críticas positivas no terminan ahí. La historia es adictiva y no puedes parar de ver, es de esas series que te tienen al borde de la silla desde que comienza el episodio hasta que termina. La temática va de que comienza a caer nieve y la gente comienza a morir en las calles. Las personas que tuvieron la suerte de no haber estado en las calles y que quedan vivas, comienzan a aprender de esta nieve y se dan cuenta de que solo mueren si entran en contacto con ella. Y ahí comienza una historia de supervivencia post-apocalíptica brutal. Y me gustó mucho la evolución de la historia porque comienza pequeña, con los personajes principales encerrados en un apartamento pero lentamente se va expandiendo y te van mostrando el universo en el que estos personajes habitan. Entonces ya no es solo la casa en la que estos personajes estaban atrapados sino que ahora también hay otra residencia en la que hay sobrevivientes. Y luego ya no es solo la residencia sino las calles de la ciudad y luego ya no son las calles de la ciudad sino el estado y la cosa va creciendo poco a poco hasta que tiene un giro gigantesco al final del que no voy a hablar ahorita por si hay gente que va a ver la serie porque quiero que este giro sea una sorpresa. A mí me sorprendió cuando lo vi y quiero que otras personas también se sorprendan. Buenos diálogos, buenos personajes. Llegas a preocuparte por todos ellos y los quieres por igual. Y te van explicando detalles de la vida pasada del protagonista lentamente a través de imágenes medio surrealistas que este ve de vez en cuando, cuando es sometido a situaciones de estrés y esto lo hace todo como muy poético de repente. Todo suma en esta serie muchachos, no hay pérdida. Muy buen suspenso, todo aquí es 10 de 10.

ENG: The new Argentine series titled El Eternauta will surprise me. I'm not used to seeing a Latin American production of this caliber. First of all, it stars Ricardo Darín, and this man is leading the cast of a series that I thought was incredible. Aside from that, the production is very solid. It's very high-quality. The story is addictive and you can't stop watching; it's one of those series that keeps you on the edge of your seat from the beginning of the episode to the end. The theme is that snow begins to fall and people begin to die in the streets. The people who were lucky enough not to have been on the streets and who are left alive begin to learn about this snow and realize that they only die if they come into contact with it. And there begins a brutal story of post-apocalyptic survival. And I really liked the evolution of the story because it starts small, with the main characters locked in an apartment, but it slowly expands and shows you the universe these characters live in. Then it's not just the house these characters were trapped in, but now there's also another residence where there are survivors. And then it's not just the residence, but the city streets, and then it's not the city streets, but the state. Things slowly grow until there's a gigantic twist at the end, which I won't talk about right now in case there are people who will watch the series because I want this twist to be a surprise. I was surprised when I saw it, and I want other people to be surprised too. Good dialogue, good characters. You come to care about all of them and love them equally. And they slowly explain details of the protagonist's past life through semi-surreal images that he sees from time to time when he's subjected to stressful situations, and this makes everything suddenly very poetic. Everything adds up in this series, guys, there's no loss. Very good suspense, everything here is 10 out of 10.

P.S. Watching Ricardo Darín act is a delight. That man is so good at it, and his look is brutal. How wonderful it is to have him as the lead actor for six episodes of a high-caliber series like this.
