¡GENTE BONITA Y CINÉFILA! Espero estén muy bien, quiero darle la bienvenida a este nuevo segmento que fue bautizado como “Shaniflix” una serie de post que haré sobre todo tema de películas y series que me encantaría debatir y expresar. No me sentía con ánimos de hacer un post típico mío de reseñando una película sino buscar algo que deje un poco una puerta abierta a debatir con todo el que lea y pueda dejar un comentario por aquí por #HIVE.

I didn't feel like doing a typical movie review post of mine, but looking for something that leaves a bit of an open door to debate with everyone who reads and can leave a comment here by #HIVE.
Se me ocurrió iniciar esta sección con una pregunta que incluyen dos series populares que recién estrenaron una nueva temporada y todos andamos ansiosos por ver la siguiente, House of the Dragon y The Boys. La pregunta es “¿Quién es más despreciable? Crinton Cole o The Deep”. Quiero advertir siempre que estos post puede que contengan algo de spoilers de las series o películas mencionadas así que estás advertido de seguir leyendo y espero que disfrutes el post si decides continuar. Siento que para iniciar este debate primero debo hablar un poquito de quien es cada personaje.
I thought I would start this section with a question that includes two popular series that just premiered a new season and we are all anxious to see the next one, House of the Dragon and The Boys. The question is "Who is more despicable? Crinton Cole or The Deep ". I want to always warn that these posts may contain some spoilers for the series or movies mentioned so you are warned to keep reading and I hope you enjoy the post if you decide to continue. I feel that to start this discussion I should first talk a little bit about who each character is.
Crinton Cole
Personaje que aparece en las dos temporadas que han salido de House of the Dragon es un caballero que fue Lord Comandante y Guardián Real que al principio de las temporadas nos demostraba ser un caballero que solamente tenía intenciones de cumplir su misión y al mismo tiempo vivir una vida simple con la persona de la cual se ha enamorado, pero luego desató una increíble personalidad cínica cuando el rencor se lo comió al no ser completamente correspondido por Rhaenyra. Al principio pensé que solo sería un personaje fastidioso porque lo lastimaron, pero es que todas sus decisiones y frases en la serie han sido toda una ridiculez que te hace ver lo despreciable que es.
Character that appears in the two seasons of House of the Dragon is a knight who was Lord Commander and Royal Guardian that at the beginning of the seasons showed us to be a knight who only had intentions of fulfilling his mission and at the same time live a simple life with the person he has fallen in love with, but then he unleashed an incredible cynical personality when the grudge ate him when he was not completely reciprocated by Rhaenyra. At first I thought he would just be an annoying character because they hurt him, but it's just that all his decisions and phrases in the series have been all ridiculousness that makes you see how despicable he is.
Primero es el único personaje que no solo no está del lado de Rhaenyra como reina legítima que es, sino que la irrespeta por completo, no hay momento donde al nombrarla no venga acompañado con un “regalada” “mentirosa” o “altanera”, y como la serie es para adultos en realidad lo que le dice, y perdónenme las palabrotas es “La falsa reina puta” “La prostituta falsa” y así. Todo por el hecho de que ella no aceptó irse con él a tener otra vida, y no supero ese rechazo, lo único que hizo fue ser exactamente todo lo que él mismo dice que es Rhaenyra, ser un … regalado y altanero JAJAJA para no decir más palabras fuertes. Se acostó con Alicent muchas veces a escondidas, incumplió su trabajo como guardia en tantas oportunidades donde justamente miembros de la familia real murieron y hasta manipuló a guardias a su comando para cometer misiones terribles y suicidas.

He slept with Alicent many times on the sly, failed to do his job as a guard on so many occasions where members of the royal family died and even manipulated guards at his command to commit terrible and suicidal missions.
Muchos en las wikis o explicaciones de la historia lo llaman el detonador de la guerra civil llamada la “Danza de los Dragones” y yo al principio no lo creía, solo sentía que hacía pagar a otros por errores de él mismo y tapaba todo su cinismo con los demás, pero logré analizar que sí, el detono que la guerra llevará el rumbo que inició gracias a incentivar a Aegon y manipularlo diciéndole como sería Rhaenyra. De verdad que cada vez que este personaje aparecía en la serie no lo quería escuchar pues de verdad cada cosa que decía era con un tono de cinismo insoportable, ya había olvidado que lo veía atractivo al inicio de la serie.

The Deep
Este personaje es despreciable y asqueroso tan solo lo recuerdo. El hombre del mar, el Aquaman mediocre, es decir que tiene los poderes de hablar y entender a los animales marinos posee branquias en su abdomen, pero sinceramente para mí su mayor poder es ser el personaje más lambiscón de todas las series que he visto, repito estoy usando las palabras más formales posibles porque si es por decir otra cosa y en venezolano, es el personaje más jalabolas de todo el mundo del cine que he visto en mi vida, y disculpen otra vez el francés ordinario. De verdad que me lo presentan un poco como un personaje bruto donde solo piensa en sexo y verse bien, tanto así que lo primero que hace es manipular a la nueva se “Los Siete” para que le haga sexo oral.
This character is despicable and disgusting I just remember him. The man of the sea, the mediocre Aquaman, that is to say that he has the powers to speak and understand marine animals has gills in his abdomen, but honestly for me his greatest power is to be the most lame character of all the series I have seen, I repeat I am using the most formal words possible because if it is to say something else and in Venezuelan, is the character more jalabolas of all the world of cinema that I have seen in my life, and excuse me again the ordinary French. He is really presented to me as a brute character where he only thinks about sex and looking good, so much so that the first thing he does is to manipulate the new "Los Siete" to give him oral sex.
Todo su personaje va de peor a MUCHO PEOR, pues de verdad demuestra lo manipulable y poco inteligente que es, su cerebro solo cabe la palabra “ser mejor” y “sexo” y como le cuesta tener la primera, explota la segunda en todo sentido, porque hasta lastimosamente lo hace con los animales marinos con los que habla lo complazcan sexualmente. Él en cada momento que puede no hace más que seguir ordenes de Homelander, de maneras esclavizaste, no tiene personalidad al punto que de solo el que lo haga sentir un poco superior le cree todo lo que dicen. En la última temporada, yo personalmente pasé a tenerle asco y lastima a tenerle: lastima, asco y despreciarlo de una manera increíble. Este personaje cada vez que aparece no aporta nada bueno a la trama, ni risas, ni evolución NADA yo solo lo veo y veo únicamente un pedazo de sobrante.
His whole character goes from worst to MOTH WORST, because he really shows how manipulable and unintelligent he is, his brain only fits the word "be better" and "sex" and as it is hard for him to have the first one, he exploits the second one in every way, because even unfortunately he does it with the marine animals with which he talks to please him sexually. He does nothing more than follow Homelander's orders, in slavish ways, he has no personality to the point that only the one who makes him feel a little superior believes everything they say. In the last season, I personally went from being disgusted and pitied to pity, disgust and despise him in an incredible way. This character every time he appears he brings nothing good to the plot, no laughs, no evolution NOTHING I just see him and I see only a piece of leftover.
Ambos personajes me parecen despreciables a su manera y que de verdad desearían que mueran o no aparezcan más, pero de verdad me he puedo a analizar quien es más despreciable entre los dos. Para mi The Deep es muchísimo más despreciable que Criston, pues de verdad ambos personajes hacen que la serie se sienta pesada y se te quiten las ganas de verla, pero por lo menos Criston a parte de arruinar planes de nuestros principales o quitarnos paz, por lo menos tiene un momento neutro donde es humano decente y se da cuenta que hay una fuerza mayor que no puede controlar, que son los dragones, y se deprime por ello. Mientras que The Deep no mejora NUNCA hay un momento donde creemos que empieza a ser una persona más considerada, pero era simplemente que seguía un papel que no quería y al lograr zafarse de él se vuelve muchísimo más despreciable y adulador sin respeto propio.
Both characters seem despicable in their own way and I really wish they would die or not appear anymore, but I have really analyzed who is more despicable between the two. For me The Deep is far more despicable than Criston, both characters really make the series feel heavy and take away your desire to watch it, but at least Criston apart from ruining plans of our main characters or taking away our peace, at least he has a neutral moment where he is a decent human and realizes that there is a greater force that he can't control, which are the dragons, and he gets depressed about it. While The Deep doesn't get EVER better there is a moment where we think he starts to be a more considerate person, but it was just that he was following a role he didn't want and upon managing to get out of it he becomes a hell of a lot more despicable and sycophantic with no self respect.
