Review and opinion of "Barbarian" (2022) [English subtitles]

Here comes one more post in which I share with you a review, opinion and general impressions of a horror and suspense movie, as I have mentioned before, it is my favorite movie genre. I have already expressed before that I feel a certain decadence in movies of this type, but anyway I am obliged to see the ones I find since some of these could be good and satisfying, although it is also true that at the end of the day a horror, suspense or science fiction movie is just a movie to entertain us.

"Barbarian" is a movie from the year 2022, this one directed by Zack Creeger and starring Georgina Campbell, Justin Long and Bill Skarsgard, who is best known for his role the movie "It", I'm sure many of you will recognize him. This is one of those movies that has a retro vibe that reminds us of better times in the genre, it also has the characteristic of making us feel uncomfortable and expectant of the events, but with a certain predictability based on the decisions made by the characters in the face of danger.

Llega un post más en el cual les comparto una reseña, opinión e impresiones generales de una película de terror y suspenso, como ya he mencionado antes, es mi género cinematográfico favorito. Ya he expresado con anterioridad que siento cierta decadencia en las películas de este tipo, pero de todas maneras estoy en la obligación de ver las que encuentre ya que alguna de estas podría ser buena y satisfactoria, aunque también es cierto que a fin de cuentas una película de terror, suspenso o ciencia ficción es solo una película para entretenernos.

"Barbarian" es una película del año 2022, ésta dirigida por Zack Creeger y protagonizada por Georgina Campbell, Justin Long y Bill Skarsgard, quien es mejor conocido por su papel en la película "It", estoy segura que muchos de ustedes lo reconocerán. Ésta es de esas películas que tienen una vibra retro que nos recuerda mejores tiempos en el género, tiene también la característica de hacernos sentir incómodos y a la expectativa de los acontecimientos, pero con cierta predictibilidad en función a las decisiones que toman los personajes frente al peligro.

I will not tell you more in this writing since everything is in the video, so as usual, I invite you to the video so you can see a small review without many spoilers and my opinion about this film which will not leave you indifferent in some aspects, although it is true that it is somewhat generic, it fulfills its function as a genre film. No les contaré mas en este escrito ya que todo está en el video, así que como de costumbre, los invito al mismo para que puedan ver una pequeña reseña sin muchos spoilers y mi opinión respecto a esta película la cual no los dejará indiferentes en algunos aspectos, si bien es cierto que es algo genérica, cumple con su función como película del género. ¡Un fuerte abrazo a todos!
