Andrews. I never imagined that such a title would remain in my heart and in my memory, never to leave. I asked myself, "Will I be able to save them from the clutches of evil, I really don't know?.
The plot is set in the state of Virginia in the United States of America. Gente bella de #Hive, cuando anunciaron el estreno en la cartelera cinematográfica de la película “Flores en el ático”, no lo podía creer, le comenté a mis hermanos y sobrinas, la tengo que ver, iba a tener enfrente de mí a mis niños, esos que acaricié en cada página de aquel interesante y tenebroso libro que años atrás había tomado en mis manos por primera vez, este de la extraordinaria escritora estadounidense W.C. Andrews. Jamás imaginé que tal título iba a quedar clavado en mi corazón y en mi memoria, para nunca irse. Me pregunté, ¿será que podré salvarlos de las garras del mal?, realmente no lo sé.
La trama se desarrolla en el estado de Virginia en los Estados Unidos de América. Una familia acaudalada donde el padre tiene por norma que para heredar su fortuna hay cosas que no se pueden hacer, ¿Te gustaría conocer cuáles son esas cláusulas? Espera a ver esta increíble película, donde estará presente la codicia, el amor, la pasión, desamor, incesto, asesinato, intento de seguir matando gente, la familia en su parte más vil, forman parte de esta tenebrosa trama, donde se conjugan relaciones insanas, y queda en evidencia que las relaciones entre las personas se dan por el roce permanente entre ellos.

La ironía de la vida es que esos generadores de vida como Heather Graham, representando el papel magistral de Corrine, mujer perversa, donde se muestra hasta dónde es capaz de llegar esa madre que se convierte en el ser más vil y malvado con tal de conseguir y concretar sus ambiciones, a través de marañas y mentiras.
V.C Andrews, narra sus obras de una forma tan magistral que es difícil no aborrecer a un ser tan perverso, ególatra, que la ambición la lleva a las más bajas acciones a las que puede llegar un ser humano. La ambiciosa Corrine, lo que tiene de linda lo tiene de mala madre, perversa. Me pregunto: ¿Cómo una madre puede llegar a ser tan perversa?, la vida muestra que lamentablemente cuando el ser humano se torna despreciable y más aún cuando esos seres llamados madres, que en algunas oportunidades no merecen ese calificativo tan especial. ¿Será que la vida la maltrató tanto, que ella por imitación hizo lo que hizo, y Uds. mis estimados qué pensarían sobre este caso? .

La madre desnaturalizada y Olivia la abuela malvada, de madres no tienen ni un ápice, son seres despreciables, lamentablemente no supieron ejecutar la labor de amar y proteger a los hijos, pero, el destino, ayyy manita ese destino que no pela a nadie, al final le tendrá que rendir cuenta. Tipo restaurante, nadie se va sin pagar.
El tiempo transcurre, y los Dollanganger, una familia que era tan feliz, la vida le cambia drásticamente y lo que ha de suceder, sucederá... el de como a cualquier persona al perder a un familiar tan amado la vida le puede dar un giro de 180°, pero esta vez no para su bien, sino para vivir lo más macabro que a algún ser humano le pueda tocar. Ohh y mis bellos niños, ¿cómo no sentir empatía con unos seres tan desdichados y frágiles?, sufrieron lo que ningún ser humano merece. Imagino, a la hora de su nacimiento, debió existir un grave problema interplanetario para que la cigüeña se equivocara y los dejará en ese hogar tan perverso, tan maquiavélico. Y la cigüeña, ¿por qué no pudo equivocarse de hogar y haberlos dejado en otro lado?.

El filme plasma las consecuencias del fanatismo religioso. La malvada abuela, Olivia, inculca a los hijos que las relaciones sexuales son pecado, que los varones no se pueden ligar con las hembras porque según ella, esto es vergonzoso. El amor no es pecado, es el sentimiento más sublime del ser humano. Como ella, hay muchas en el mundo mentirosa y manipuladora, la abuela malvada Olivia y la flamante madre desnaturalizada, con tal de mantener las apariencias y el qué dirán serán capaces de hacer cualquier cosa para quedarse con la herencia … ayy ¿y qué harán? a los ojos de la sociedad ellos eran para ese momento los seres más distinguidos de esa comunidad. Las falsas apariencias, les permite hacer lo que quieran ya que nadie se imagina de lo que son capaces.
Ustedes están muy lejos de saber las atrocidades que ocurrieron... Son seres ruines, infames y todos los sinónimos que puedan existir en el diccionario para denotar a esas mujeres, ¿Será acaso que eso es genético?, ...Bueno disculpen, me equivoqué la mayoría de ellos son malísimos, mis niños no; ellos realizan acciones que para los ojos de los demás van contra las normas, pero analizando bien lo ocurrido... pero, ¡esperen... esperen!, aún no saquen conclusiones, cuando vean la película, entenderán lo que realmente pasó. Los invito a verla, verán...no puedo contar más. Eso, que vivieron mis niños, no se le hace ni a un animal, todo ser humano tiene derecho a la libertad.

Les puedo adelantar que Cristhopher va a dar el todo por el todo para salvar a sus hermanos... ¿Y salvarlos de qué?. La película muestra que la ambición, la crueldad y las cosas más bajas a la que puede llegar un ser humano está por encima del amor hacia los hijos, y que la mente humana, es un pozo sin fin.. Aun los recuerdo, mis ojos se llenan de lágrimas, eso que ellos han sufrido, insisto no lo merece ningún ser humano. ¿Sabes? Esta historia fácilmente pudiera estar ocurriendo en algún lugar del mundo, casi a tu lado, sin darte cuenta.
