Lovers of movies and series, today I bring you a new series called The Masters of the Air, a production that surprised me so I decided to share with you the review, as it is based on World War II, in this case of a group of American bomber pilots who fought with Nazi Germany and who were responsible for destroying military tactical points. Remember that my opinion is based on my personal experience and not a professional criticism.

Normally, this kind of series has several directors, where each of them work in one chapter and some of them in several of them, since normally each episode touches a different theme and the important thing is to make the public understand what you want to convey.

This wants to show us the cruelty of war, but despite them the men try to do their duty regardless of their lives, they were trained for them, many are prepared psychologically, while others are not, what is relevant is the support between the different companies.
Hermanos de sangre, The Pacific y Los Amos del aire tiene cosas en común, como es el compañerismo entre los hombres y que cada uno lucha por poder llegar vivos al destino, aunque sabemos que esto es imposible y que siempre se llegan a perder vidas. Esto nos quieren mostrar la crueldad de la guerra, pero a pesar de ellos los hombres tratan de cumplir con su deber sin importar sus vidas, para ellos fueron entrenados, muchos están preparados sicológicamente, mientras que otros no, lo relevante es el apoyo entre las diferentes compañías.

This series was scheduled to be released before 2024, the recordings according to information was in 2021, but due to the pandemic that was hitting the world in that year, everything was delayed, but finally in January of this year it premiered. I loved the plot, as much as its sister productions, a theme that I like a lot and the best thing is that the facts were based on real events, which I know is always appreciated, to be able to know the history of these men, who fought fiercely for their country and for the welfare of the world.
Esta serie estaba previsto que saliera antes del 2024, las grabaciones según informaciones fue en el 2021, pero debido a la pandemia que estaba azotando el mundo en ese año, todo se retrasó, pero finalmente en enero de este año se estrenó. La trama me encantó, tanto como sus producciones hermanas, un tema que me gusta mucho y lo mejor es que los hechos estaba basado en hechos reales, lo que sé siempre se agradece, el poder conocer la historia de estos hombres, que lucharon ferozmente por su país y por el bienestar del mundo.
Among the main characters we find Major Gale “Buck” Cleven, who is played by the American actor Austin Butler. This character is a great pilot, who is in charge of a group of bombers and who has the vision to accomplish the missions regardless of risking his life, although he always tries to save the crew of the aircraft. We also have John “Bucky” Egan, who is played by British actor Callum Turner. Bucky is also a great pilot, but unlike his best friend Buck, this one is a bit undisciplined, but he is an excellent strategist and his pulse does not tremble to make the best decisions under enemy fire.
Entre los personajes principales encontramos al mayor Gale "Buck" Cleven, quien es interpretado por el actor estadounidense Austin Butler. Este personaje es un gran piloto, quien está a cargo de un grupo de bombarderos y quien tiene la visión de cumplir con las misiones sin importar arriesgar su vida, aunque siempre trata de salvar a la tripulación de las aeronaves. The amount of cast is quite considerable, between main actors, supporting actors and guests, each one with a different personality, but in the end with something in common which is the courage to try to accomplish the missions at the cost of their own lives. The work of each one of the cast was quite good, where the most outstanding are the two of which I mentioned in the review, being these my favorite characters and who I consider to have more transcendence within the story. Very good work by the directors and productions of this miniseries. It has great chapters, with sequences of themes that leave us with our mouths open.
La cantidad de reparto es bastante considerable, entre actores principales, de reparto e invitados, cada uno con una personalidad diferente, pero al final con algo en común que es el valor para tratar de cumplir las misiones a costa de sus propias vidas. El trabajo de cada uno del cast fue bastante bueno, donde lo más destacado son los dos de la cual les comenté en la reseña, siendo estos mis personajes favoritos y quienes considero que tiene más trascendencia dentro de la historia. Muy buen trabajo por parte de los directores y producciones de esta miniserie. La misma cuenta con grandes capítulos, con secuencia de temas que nos dejan con la boca abierta.

The photography, the setting and the visual effects for the moments of the flights and the battles in the air, where really impressive, being a very outstanding series in this aspect and that has a positive review. The soundtrack is good, although I think it is a step below the other aspects already touched. I must say that the miniseries is not perfect, it has some things that I do not like, as the introduction already give us spoilers of what will happen in the chapters, there are several important scenes and at the end also show a preview of the next chapter, something that I do not like at all, but it has not ruined my experience with the series.
La fotografía, la ambientación y los efectos visuales para los momentos de los vuelos y las batallas en el aire, donde realmente impresionantes, siendo una serie muy destacada en este aspecto y que cuenta con una crítica positiva. La banda sonora es buena, aunque creo que es un escalón por debajo de los otros aspectos ya tocados. Debo decir que la miniserie no es perfecta, tiene algunas cosas que no me gustan, como que la introducción ya nos dan spoiler de lo que va a pasar en los capítulos, salen varias escenas importantes y que al final también muestran una previa del siguiente capítulo, algo que no me gusta de un todo, pero tampoco es me haya arruinado la experiencia con la serie.
The Masters of the Air is a great miniseries that is worth watching from beginning to end, especially if you are a fan of the genre of war productions, based on true stories of World War II. And if you don't like these productions, I'm sure you can like it as much as its predecessors, you can see the hand of Steven Spielberg, and Tom Hanks. I recommend it without hesitation. The score I would give to the series is 9.5/10.

Y si no te gustan estas producciones, estoy seguro de que te puede gustar tanto como sus predecesoras, se ve la mano de Steven Spielberg, y Tom Hanks. Se las recomiendo sin dudarlo.
