We all saw the famous Disney movie "101 Dalmatians" in our childhood, we saw the great villain Cruella De Vil and her fashion obsessions beyond sanity. We judged her decisions and hated her for what she wanted to do to the main characters of that movie, however, we never knew her past, the story behind everything, we never had the chance to know why Cruella behaved in such a way.
Todos vimos alguna vez la famosa película de Disney “101 Dálmatas” en nuestra infancia, vimos la gran villana Cruella De Vil y sus obsesiones por la moda más allá de la cordura. Juzgamos sus decisiones y la odiamos por lo que quería hacerle a los protagonistas de dicha película, sin embargo, nunca conocimos su pasado, la historia detrás de todo, nunca tuvimos la oportunidad de saber porque Cruella se comportaba de tal forma.
Now with her new live action we will be able to see the great Cruella from her childhood to her maturity and we will be able to know where her instinct for fashion and her madness came from.
In the movie, director Craig was focused on making us realize that all villains start out as good, until a big event that harmed them a lot in their lives made the spark of evil ignite and burn all the good.
Ahora con su nuevo live action podremos ver a la gran Cruella desde su infancia hasta su madurez y podremos saber de dónde vino su instinto por la moda y su locura.
En la película el director Craig se enfrascó en que nos diéramos cuenta que todos los villanos comienzan siendo buenos, hasta que un gran suceso que los perjudico bastante en sus vidas hizo que la chispa de la maldad se encienda y queme todo lo bueno.
Cruella or rather Estella (Emma Stone), is no exception, her childhood was very traumatic from the beginning, due to her explosive personality and her distinctive two-colored hair; the kids at her school bullied her every day, she was not going to be won over by any of them and fought them. She could only make one friend; Anita Darling (Kirby Howell-Baptiste).
Cruella's reputation for misbehavior caused her mother to take matters into her own hands and they moved to London where they would start a new life in a new place. But the situation changed when an accident happened to Cruella's mother while she was looking for help, some Dalmatians who were chasing Cruella for being curious at an elegant and private party went in search of her mother and knocked her down a ravine; Cruella believed all her life that it had been her fault and she never wanted to let Cruella out again and would continue her life being normal as Estella.
Cruella o mejor dicho Estella (Emma Stone), no es la excepción, su infancia fue muy traumática desde su inicio, debido a su personalidad tan explosiva y su distintivo cabello de dos colores; los niños de su escuela la molestaban todos los días, ella no se iba a dejar ganar de ninguno y los combatía. Solo pudo hacer una sola amiga; Anita Darling (Kirby Howell-Baptiste).
La reputación de mala conducta de Cruella hizo que su madre tomara cartas en el asunto y se fueran a vivir a Londres donde comenzarían una nueva vida en un nuevo lugar. Pero la situación cambió cuando un accidente le ocurre a la madre de Cruella mientras buscaba ayuda, unos dálmatas que perseguían a Cruella por andar de curiosa en una fiesta elegante y privada fueron en busca de su madre y la tumbaron por un barranco; Cruella creyó toda su vida que había sido su culpa y nunca quiso volver a dejar salir a Cruella y seguiría su vida siendo normal como Estella.
Growing up, Estella and her friends Jasper (Joel Fry) and Horace (Paul Walter Hauser) became expert thieves, from pickpockets to jewel thieves, using the costumes Estella designed for each robbery.
Her friends see how obsessed Estella is with fashion and designs so they move some papers to get her accepted into a big designer store, but the job doesn't turn out to be what she thought it would be and she is put to cleaning without permission to give ideas of her own.
Al crecer, Estella y sus amigos Jasper (Joel Fry) y Horace (Paul Walter Hauser) se convirtieron en expertos ladrones, desde carteristas hasta ladrones de joyerías, usando los disfraces que Estella diseñaba para cada robo.
Sus amigos ven lo obsesionada que Estella está con la moda y los diseños así que mueven unos papeles para que la aceptaran en una gran tienda de diseñadores, pero el trabajo no resulta ser lo que pensaba y la ponen a limpiar sin permiso de dar ideas propias.
An accident with the clothing display thanks to Estella brought her to the attention of the Baroness; the best designer in the world. She hired Estella to design for her in her home and exploited her talent.
Later Estella realizes that her mother's death came from the home where she worked and the revenge blinded her, making Cruella come to light and devastating everything in its path.
Un accidente con el exhibidor de la ropa gracias a Estella hizo que llamara la atención de la Baronesa; la mejor diseñadora del mundo. Contrato a Estella para que diseñara para ella en su casa y exploto su talento.
Más adelante Estella se da cuenta que la muerte de su madre provino del hogar donde trabajaba y la venganza la cegó, logrando que Cruella saliera a la luz y arrasando con todo a su paso.
Thanks to the movie we realize that Cruella was once as gentle and human as everyone else and that because she went through various traumas since her childhood she became a mess; but despite the problems and her madness, she helped Anita to move forward and apologized to Roger, the Baroness's former lawyer for getting him fired. Without a doubt this movie showed us that many times beyond the evil there is a touch of goodness.
I loved Emma Stone's performance as Cruella, I felt she really connected with the character despite the production's decisions to strip her of some of her most prominent characteristics.
I hope the rumors of the supposed sequel are true and see what else Cruella has to give us. We also hope to see the 101 Dalmatians turned into a live action movie.
Gracias a la película nos damos cuenta de que Cruella algún día fue tan gentil y humana como todos y que por haber pasado por diversos traumas desde su infancia se fue convirtiendo en todo un caos; pero a pesar de los problemas y sus locuras, ella ayudó a Anita a seguir adelante y pidió disculpas a Roger el ex abogado de la Baronesa por hacer que lo despidieran. Sin duda alguna esta película nos demostró que en muchas ocasiones más allá de la maldad siembre hay un toque de bondad.
Me encantó la actuación de Emma Stone en el rol de Cruella, sentí que se conectó mucho con el personaje a pesar de las decisiones de la producción de despojarla de algunas de sus caracteristicas mas resaltantes.
Espero que los rumores de la supuesta secuela sean ciertos y ver que más tiene Cruella para darnos. También esperamos ver a los 101 Dalmatas convertidos en un live action.
