I have already told you that I really like movies based on real events, especially those that have a great message, that make you see that there is still goodness in the world, although many today do not know how to appreciate it.
Some time ago I saw this movie, and I loved it from beginning to end, it had been recommended to me many times, and I said I have to see it, it was definitely worth it, a unique story, special but above all true.
These are the kind of stories that hook you, catch you, and show you that there are no barriers to friendship, it does not take into account social or cultural differences, it can happen at the moment and with the least expected people.
Green Book, is the story of two men, where one of them is a famous African American pianist, who has to make a tour, and must hire someone to take him on his tour, it is here where he meets this rough Italian American man, to be his driver and at the same time his assistant. At first the man is not very convinced to make this trip, because of the difference in culture and color, but out of necessity he is forced to accept.
On this trip, he has to carry a small green book, which shows a list of the different establishments and motels where they can access, because not all of them accept African Americans, and yes, at that time there was still the issue of racism.
Toni Lip (Viggo Mortensen), this is the name of this ordinary and rough man, in charge of taking Don Shirley (Mahershala Ali), the famous pianist, to make this trip, full of many things, because he not only had to be his driver and guide, but he had to take care of him and protect him from all those who did not accept him because of his skin color.
And although Shirley was used to being discriminated in many aspects, Toni did not understand or support everything they put him through, however, it is here where he begins to think differently, and with the passing of this journey, these two men get to know each other, and without realizing it, they strike up a great friendship.
It is a film of reflection, where we can see that no matter our skin color, culture or religion, when we want to establish a relationship, a friendship, meet other people, everything is left aside.
This story encompasses a little bit of everything, drama, comedy, action, in short, for me, it was very entertaining, with good scenes, and great performances by these two main characters.
Sometimes we tend to get carried away by appearances, and we judge people before we get to know them, it is a mistake we make many times, but it is here where we see that appearances are deceiving, that not everything is as we see it, and we must give it a chance to show our true selves.
In the case of Toni, we can see a rough, clumsy, somewhat rude, violent man, but he is also a man who does not support injustice, who defends his own, and who can become the best travel companion.
On the other hand, we have Shirley, a cultured man, educated, well-spoken, serious, not violent, passive, but when he meets Toni, he begins to know another world, another lifestyle, and that not everything is serious, that it is valid to get out of the mold from time to time.
As you can see, they are two completely opposite people, but destiny made them meet, sharing this trip was a lesson for both of them, to travel and to know a new life, without a doubt, it was a trip full of adventures and many lessons.
What called my attention the most, is to know that this story is real, and that these men really existed, it is a lesson for many, I think that this kind of stories are the ones that should be promoted and inculcated, especially for today's youth.
A touching, inspiring, emotional story, you will laugh, cry, and the ending will be epic, it is a movie you can't miss, if you haven't done it yet, I recommend it with your eyes closed, as I said I loved it from beginning to end, and I'm sure you will too.
They are two hours that will be worth every second, every moment, in which each chapter will be a reflection of the good work they did here, scenes that will make you laugh, you will see the change that makes one in the other, both the scenes and the characters, are impeccable.
It should be noted that this story was based in the 60's, in the south of the United States, at the time of those modern cars, not to mention that racism still prevailed at that time, in some states of the country.
As I said, it is one of the best movies I have seen, it grabs you and keeps you there wanting to know more, and how this story will end.

Ya les he comentado que me gustan mucho las películas basadas en hechos reales, sobre todo esas que tienen un gran mensaje, que te hacen ver que aún existe la bondad en el mundo, aunque muchos hoy en día no lo sepan valorar.
Hace un tiempo vi esta película, y la amé desde principio a fin, me la habían recomendado muchas veces, y dije tengo que verla, sin duda valió la pena, una historia única, especial pero sobre todo verdadera.
Son este tipo de historias que te enganchan, te atrapan, y te muestra que para la amistad no hay barreras, no se fija en las diferencias sociales, ni culturales, se puede dar en el momento y con las personas menos esperadas.
Green Book, es la historia de dos hombres, donde uno de ellos es un famoso pianista afroamericano, el cual tiene que hacer una gira, y debe contratar a alguien que lo lleve hacer su tour, es aquí donde conoce a este hombre tosco italoamericano, para que sea su chofer y a la vez su asistente. Al principio el hombre no le convence mucho hacer este viaje, debido a la diferencia de cultura y color, pero por necesidad se ve forzado a aceptar.
En este viaje, tiene que llevar un pequeño libro verde, el cual muestra un listado de los distintos establecimientos y moteles donde pueden acceder, debido a que no todos aceptan a los afroamericanos, y es que si, en esa época aún existía el tema del racismo.
Toni lip (Viggo Mortensen), así se llama este hombre ordinario y rudo, encargado de llevar a Don Shirley (Mahershala Ali), el famoso pianista, a realizar este viaje, lleno de muchas cosas, porque no solo le tocaba ser su chofer y guía, sino que tenía que cuidarlo y protegerlo, de todas aquellas que no lo aceptaran por su color de piel.
Y aunque Shirley estaba acostumbrado a ser discriminado en muchos aspectos, Toni no comprendía ni apoyaba todo lo que le hacían pasar, sin embargo, es aquí donde el empieza a pensar diferente, y con el transcurrir de este viaje, estos dos hombres se van conociendo, y sin darse cuenta, van entablando una gran amistad.
Es una película de reflexión, donde podemos ver que no importa nuestro color de piel, cultura o religión, cuando queremos entablar una relación, una amistad, conocer a otras personas, todo está queda a un lado.
Esta historia engloba de todo un poco, drama, comedia, acción, en fin, para mí fue muy entretenida, con buenas escenas, y grandes actuaciones, por parte de estos dos personajes principales.
A veces nos solemos llevar por las apariencias, y juzgamos a las personas antes de conocerla, es un error que cometemos muchas veces, pero es aquí donde vemos, que las apariencias engañan, que no todo es como nos los reflejan, y debemos darle una oportunidad, para mostrar nuestro verdadero ser.
En el caso de Toni, podemos ver un hombre rudo, torpe, algo maleducado, violento, pero también es un hombre que no apoya las injusticias, que defiende a los suyos, y que puede llegar a ser el mejor acompañante de viajes.
Por otra parte, tenemos a Shirley, un hombre culto, educado, bien hablado, serio, nada violento, pasivo, pero al conocer a Toni, empieza a conocer otro mundo, otro estilo de vida, y que no todo es seriedad, que es válido salirse del molde de vez en cuando.
Como ven son dos personas completamente opuestas, pero el destino los hizo encontrarse, el compartir este viaje, fue una lección para ambos, recorrer y conocer una nueva vida, sin duda fue una viaje lleno de aventuras y muchas lecciones.
Lo que más me llamo la atención, es el saber que esta historia es real, y que estos hombres en verdad existieron, es una lección para muchos, pienso que este tipo de relatos son los que deben ser promocionados e inculcados, sobre todo para la juventud de hoy en día.
Una historia conmovedora, inspiradora, emotiva, vas a reír, llorar, y el final será épico, es una película que no pueden dejar de ver, si aún no lo han hecho, se la recomiendo con los ojos cerrados, como dije la ame desde principio a fin, y estoy segura de que ustedes también.
Son dos horas que valdrán cada segundo, cada instante, en el que cada capítulo será un reflejo del buen trabajo que hicieron aquí, escenas que te haran reir, veras el cambio que hace uno en el otro, tanto las escenas, como los personajes, son impecables.
Cabe resaltar que esta historia fue basada en los años 60, en el sur de los Estados Unidos, en la época de aquellos carros modernos, sin dejar de mencionar, que el racismo aún prevalecía en ese entonces, en algunos estados del país.
Como dije, es una de las mejores películas que he visto, te atrapa y te mantiene allí queriendo saber más, y como terminara esta historia.
Espero se animen a verla, y si ya la vieron, me cuenten que tal les pareció, como siempre les digo, no dejen de disfrutar ver una buena película o serie, sobre todo de este tipo, llenos de reflexión y con un mensaje, nos vemos en la próxima.
